History

Established in 1993.

1^st Choice started out as Salmirs Properties a small family owned business managing our family’s Properties. In 2000 we changed our name to 1^st Choice and opened our services to new owners and investors. Currently we are managing 200 Units.

Business Owner

The Team

Darryl Kazen Broker and owner of 1^st Choice Property Management is retired from the U.S. Air Force. He started with a couple of rental homes of his own. Friends and Investors then began asking him to manage their properties.

Darryl is an active member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers. He currently holds the Master Property Manager designation (there are currently just over 100 persons in the US that have earned the MPM designation). Darryl also has been selected to be a member of the Texas Association of Realtors Property Management Committee. As a professional in the property management business, Darryl constantly strives to keep abreast of the ever changing rental market and the Texas State Property Code to better serve his clientele.
