Jim Sullivan’s Sunoco

We were visiting Mystic from MA with my sister’s family the weekend before 4^th of July. We got a flat tire due to a screw punctured thru the tire threads. The AAA guys (by the way, totally saved us. They had to change our tire in the 90 degree heat. The jack actually sank into the soften asphalt that the guy had to call his dad to bring in a board and larger jack to do the job… AAA totally paid for itself in situation like this). This is the only near by gas station that’s still open in the early Sunday afternoon who can patch tires up. It’s a full service station and there were steady stream of people coming in and out getting gas while we were there. The attendant was able to patch our tire and put it back on the car in less than 20 min. The whole time, despite he was the only person working, bouncing between pumping gas and repair our tire and not to mention that it was very close to their closing time (I think they close at 3pm on Sunday), he never lost his cool/​patience! Thanks very much, whoever you are. We will definitely come back to this gas station when we return for another visit to the area (no more pop tires, please!)
