Stephanie’s Hair Salon & Day Spa

Great place. Very clean and not too noisy. I’ve been to Jessica twice now and have strangers come up to me and compliment my hair. I also like her because she doesn’t ask a lot of personal questions and doesn’t talk much at all. I’ll be back.

I have been here once, actually yesterday and I got a facial for $ 70. My daughter had given me a $ 50.00 gift certificate, so that helped with the cost. This salon does not let you tip on a credit card, so bring cash or a checkbook to tip.
This salon is set way back off Forestbrook Rd., in fact once you see the sign, you have passed it. However this gem is worth the turn around. As you go down the drive or street (I can’t figure out which it was}, you come to this little yellow house with Stephanie’s name in script across the door. The parking is plentiful for the size of this salon.
Once you step inside, you feel like you’ve entered an interior designers heaven. It is decorated for the Christmas holiday, so I expect it may be less intense when the decorations come down. It is rather much on the eyes, though. I heard a voice to my right rear and found a woman behind a counter (I hadn’t noticed). I gave her my name, and looked around in this wonderland for seating and found it in the left front.
Beautiful strawberry blonde Robin introduced herself to me and guided me through a disguised door, down a hall into a room with a table resembling a massage table in the center of the room. Soft music and low light gives this room a serene feeling. Robin gave me a facial like I’ve never had, applying layers of exfoliants and creams. I have no idea what she did to me.
When I came out to pay, the woman at the counter told me I’m glowing. No one ever said that to me, except when I was pregnant. I’m a far cry from that now. Anyway, I took care of the financials, above, and went home to my husband, who told me my skin was soft and I look beautiful. Isn’t that why I came here in the first place? I took one star away because of the tipping issue, difficulty finding the entrance and although it was a pleasant experience, $ 70.00 plus $ 20.00 tip is rather expensive for my wallet.

Loved getting my haircut and color by Jessica — she did a great job and I left with my hair shiny and healthy looking. The reason I am giving this 4 stars is because I also had my eye brows waxed and one is thinner than the other. I was also unaware that only cash tip was accepted and felt awful since I only carry plastic. The salon was very clean and well kept. Professional staff and great space. I will definitely be back (just might not get my brows done).

I visited Stephanie’s for the first time yesterday. The location is convenient yet away from all the tourist traffic. I saw Christina. She is super sweet and talented. I love my hair and we will back in 6 weeks!

The staff at Stephanie’s is professional and polite. Christina is a talented and creative sytlist. I always leave feeling glamorous!

I was recently married in Myrtle Beach, and not being from the area, I had no idea where to go. Luckily, I found Stephanie’s, and everything turned out great. It’s a beautiful salon with a knowledgeable staff who were willing to fulfill any of our hair requests. Christina and Stephanie were both wonderful, and I wish I lived closer so I could make it my regular salon!
