Palace Theatre At Broadway

Loved this place. although the outside needs a little bit of updating. maybe a brighter color or adding some bling! Because it looks like its from the 80’s era.
the inside is very nice. has a VERY SMALL gift shop. there ar several concessions around and what is nice is there is an ADULT BEVERAGE bar too! The doors opened an hour before the show began which is nice if you want to wander around and look at the place.
i loved the stair case in front.
i noticed that the majority of ushers, concessions, adult bar employees are those of retirment age. I guess its something to do in the off season.
WHICH BY THE WAY late Septemeber is a great time to visit myrtle beach if you want to play and shop and dine without a bunch of people around!
The overwhelming smell of burnt popcorn was nauseating though and did not make us want a snack– we had just finished a big lunch so that was a money saver. We did get a large soda and a bottled water and the prices were reasonable to that of movies.
we were shown to our seats and waited for the show to start. We enjoyed the show very much. i would come back to see more shows in future
cons: the handicap parking on the left side (if facing the front of building) is insufficent especially for a large van with a wheelchair lift and fills up quickly
con: you can not order handicap seating tickets online you must call and speak with a manager to reserve those spots. also i was disappointed because although she said she would discount my tickets ($ 4 which is what my coupons said) because I had to call back 3 times.
