Just left the restaurant and my family is yelling for me to write a review. Absolutely exceptional food and service! What a wonderful surprise and treat. Our order included shrimp(great!), filet mignon cooked medium-rare(perfection!), chicken(wonderful!), fried dumplings(my 10 year old loved them) and spicy tuna roll(not the best I’ve had but not a disappointment by any means). Great environment, great quality, great & friendly service! Will be back.

The hibachi chicken with onions and zucchini was really good. Everyone who had rice thought it was cooked great and they enjoyed the steak as well. Nice lunch! Quick enough to get back to work. Just a hair over ten bucks with a drink.

My favorite restaurant in to go form, prices are reasonable and the food is great. Same chefs from Miyabi’s in Murrells Inlet, and same sauces which I love!

The Miyabi family of restaurants is very well managed evident by their tenured staff; They have some chefs my wife knew as a child. The food is consistently solid and the facilities are always clean and well kept. The cashiers act as if they are owners. Always a treat. Had the new Katsu bowl today. Very tasty. The steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly on the open grill. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

To start with I am NOT a Japanese hibachi food expert by any means. I’ve eaten at your traditional chain restaurants like Benihanas and Kyobo, & a bunch of local or regional restaurants. I’m 46 years old. But I have to say, I was not expecting what I’m eating right now. It is absolutely fantastic. I got the filet mignon and chicken hibachi. The sauces are as good as any sit down restaurant I’ve been to. The filet was done medium rare is perfect and tender. The chicken is tender and dipped in the sriracha style hot sauce is delicious. The vegetables are fresh and crisp. The ginger dressing is absolutely delicious. Nothing is overtly sweet and definitely doesn’t taste like anything near a fast food or takeout joint. If you’re in town and are not going to a sit down restaurant and need dinner in a rush, I highly recommend this place. I’m in town for business for a week from Atlanta and very happy that I found this place because there are many restaurants in this town which don’t have a clue to what decent food is and just need to shut down. Hopefully it will remain a reliable quick dinner selection.

Excellent place to eat. Great Japanese food for a great price. The food came out really fast. There was enough food left over to make another meal as well. Wish they had a place like this back home where I live.

This place was disgusting. We spent around $ 40 and got a bunch of burnt food. I was so dissapointed. It was quite obvious that they didn’t clean their grill, because there were traces of black stuff all over our food.

Miyabi Jr is a cheaper and faster alternative to its bigger brother, Miyabi, yet uses the same high quality ingredients and tastes just as great!

Japanese fastfood? Yes, please! Newly opened Japanese fast food restaurant that offers both takeaway and sit down dining conveniently located near Walmart on Dick Pond Road. Prices range from sushi at $ 3.25 an order to $ 12.50 for filet mignon and shrimp dinner. Once you pick up your dinner, head over to the condiments bar with various sauces – just as if you are sitting down in front of a hibachi table in a high end hibachi restaurant. Comfortable dining in a nicely decorated dining room. This newly opened establishment is now offering 30% off!
