Average at best. Nifty little place if you’re looking for convenience but don’t count on great service or awesome food. We tried it twice but will not again. Dinner — server did not bring out the second round of drinks and then got an attitude. But the food was good. Breakfast — Bloody Mary was not that great at all… and perhaps was the most important part… LOL. Service was slow and omelette was runny. The hash browns were not good.

This place has a good cheap breakfast menu and good bloody Mary’s. Also has a decent happy hour menu and can seat a lot inside and out. It can get pretty loud but is very family friendly. Bartenders all have been nice. Get the Shepards Pie and McCool fries!

Don’t get the sausage patties unless you like eating hockey pucks, had a better breakfast at McDonald’s.

The best place to go for St Patrick’s Day 2016… The place was packed… Chairs under the trees, tents set up selling food, drinks 3 different spots on the porch… This isn’t there first rodeo! And to beat it we meant our old school mate!

Wanted some pub food and drinks near the Embassy suites, so I went here since it is less than a mile from the Kingston Plantation entrance. Figured I couldn’t go wrong with an Irish pub. Not a huge place but nice and clean. The restaurant is kinda hidden by a big grove of trees. I ended up ordering some fried seafood and it was pretty good. Not the best I’ve ever had but exactly what I was looking for. The food service was slow but that was okay because I was drinking at the bar. It wasn’t crowded at all, so I wonder how slow it would be when it is busy. Lots of TVs there with sports on so that was a plus. On a side note this seems like a place that caters to a much older crowd. I was easily the youngest person there by at least 10 years and I am 35. Event the bartender and waitstaff were much older. Not a bad thing as they were all very friendly, but I just felt a bit out of place. Got a bunch of odd looks from the old guys at the bar. Might got back again or might not.

Don’t bother. Bad bar food in a tavern atmosphere. We had burgers that were overcooked, chicken that was overcooked, grilled cheese that was boring, BBQ pork that was OK, and service that was slooooow. It was probably average, Friday at 6 busy. We asked for a table for 5 and were told they didn’t have any… no alternatives were offered. When we pointed at an empty table, they let us have it, but the whole interaction was odd. We ate on the ‘porch’, which was nice. The waitress was friendly, but it took a very long time for our food to arrive. The one bright spot was the homemade chips — delicious. In the end, I won’t go back.

We happened in here by accident and we could not be happier with the food, service and atmosphere! Crystal was the best server ever! When she realized we had come in by accident she didn’t pressure us to stay, she just told us what they had to offer. Her recommendations were spot on! We will be back! Best peel and eat shrimp we have had in Myrtle Beach! Thank You Crystal!

My family and I had a late dinner here. Because of that, the business was slowing down, and we had great service! We all tried the Irish stew, and it was easily the best thing on the menu. It deserves 5 stars on its own. I had a Caesar salad which was average. It wasn’t anything amazing, but it will work if you want to eat something green. I also had the chicken BLT sandwich and McCool chips. The sandwich was satisfying but average, and the chips were absolutely delicious. Definitely spend the dollar to upgrade. Then, my mom and I split the homemade Heath bar pie. I’m pretty easy to please on deserts and Heath is my favorite so that was easily 5 stars in my book. The prices on everything seemed fair and reasonable. Overall, it had a nice, local atmosphere, and I’d recommend it for dinner if you’re on vacation.

Decent but not great Bloody Mary(no horseradish). Had a beer or two outside and a couple inside. Staff was relatively friendly. The McCool’s chips are worth the upcharge

After being seated we waited 15 mins and had no service so we got up to walk out. We got stopped and were told to come back in and they would take care of us… Mistake… Food was less than desirable! Chicken Parm was made with what looked to be frozen chicken fingers. Service and food was very slow and it wasn’t even busy. I would try something else…

Great place to start the day off with a kick. Ambiance/Décor: A This is a great location. Close to the Apache Pier and hotels/campgrounds. I saw the open sign as I was exploring. Nice shady location with live oaks sprawling everywhere. Great patio and big bar. Service: A+ I spent every morning here this week. Great service from Crystal. Very friendly place. Food Quality: ??? I didn’t eat but the breakfast food looks really good. Good Bloody Mary and the Guinness is nice and cold. Price: A Top shelf Bloody Mary and Guinness pints less than $ 5. Reasonable and others beers are less. I

I had the shepherds pie the potatoes tasted like instant mashed potatoes, there was no sauce(gravy) served on it also it was not baked in the oven brining a nice crisp to he dish. Overall a small portion with a small cup of sauce served on the side. On the plus side the server was great and the beer was delicious. The tabled however argued the fish and chips could have had more flavor.

The food is good, but it took along time to serve it. Small group might have better results; we had 15 in our group

The older greeter was super nice and friendly. We sat out of the deck which quickley filled up. The food was basic bar food but hit the spot. The husband and i split a pitcher of long island ice tea which we thought wpuld be a personal sized pitcher. We couldn’t finish it lol.

Good local pub food. The menu has a lot of options. I opted for the four leaf clover special and it was very good. Others at the table had the shepherds pie, Reuben and fish n chips, which were also good. Ordered the kids linguine for the child with us and it tasted fine although they only gave a small little travel cup of marinara sauce which was not enough by any stretch of the imagination. Service was great! Waitress was attentive, kept our drinks full and put in the child’s order early. Will definitely return next time in the area.

Went with a big group and they had great service with mediocre food. I had the BBQ pork sandwich which was good and shared onion rings(too much batter). The salads looked amazing though! Should have done that. I felt like the price reflected the quality which I was OK with. Recommend for a lunch or hangover cure!

Great place! Very comfy and cozy! The food was tasty. We had the wings and thy were very well seasoned and good! The alcohol was also good, but could have been a bit stronger :) Really likes the at home feeling the staff provided us with! Would definitely recommended this place for local and simple dining!
