Broadway At The Beach

I absolutely love the concept here! Broadway at the Beach is needed in every city! Everything in walking distance I love it!
Plenty of shopping, eating, clubbing, drinking, family fun… something for everyone and the nightlife is pleasing for the not so rowdy type of crowd.
Stores such as: It’s Sugar, Clothing and shoe stores, novelty shops and even a winery are located on the Boardwalk. You can easily spend two hours here and not even notice.
I visited here the weekend before Memorial Day and the the crowd was comfortable during the night, Friday and even during the day and night on Saturday. It’s roomy enough to walk around without being shoulder to shoulder with others. If you have small children definitely keep a close eye and hand on them. While there is plenty of family friendly shops and attractions, the Boardwalk also features a body of water that can be verrrry tempting to the little ones. And it’s fenced in so yeah definitely keep your loved little ones close!
You’re able to purchase food (coins) to feed the ducks and anything else that’s in the water that surrounds the Boardwalk. There are plenty of food dispensers and the lake is huge so the sea life is plentiful.
I’d definitely recommend you make this a stop on your list when you visit Myrtle Beach. So looking forward to return. And they have new eateries etc. Coming soon!
Oh and there’s plenty of parking and the aquarium is walking distance away. It’s also minutes from the interstate. It’s super easy to find. I suggest you wear comfy shoes and get your walk on during the day and party at night!
Free entry but bring money you want a bite to eat etc. Oh there’s a comedy club too onsite.

This place is really fun and a must-​do on the list of attractions at Myrtle Beach. Its a boardwalk, a restaurant hub, a place to see a movie, go to the aquarium, go on a high speed boat, shop, and party. It covers all ages and has an area for the party goers, for the families, and for couples. We went on a beautiful night and really enjoyed just doing the boardwalk and people watching.

We enjoyed visiting and understand it is primarily a touristy place; however, I firmly believe the activities if priced slightly lower would draw in a larger crowd. Especially if there were deals for early birds.
We looked at the laser maze and for the price (I believe it was $ 14 per person) and the fact it only lasts for 2 tries, which the associate said would last about 30 sec. when I asked, isn’t worth the money. And yes, I’m glad she didn’t lie to me to make a sale. C’mon, we all know it value brings people in.

Broadway At The Beach is always among my must-​visit spots in Myrtle! There is something for everyone of all ages, from restaurants and entertainment/​nightlife to shopping and carnival rides, mini golf, and a movie theater.
You can easily spend a few hours here; evenings are a great time to go as there are often fireworks over the lagoon at night.
The atmosphere is safe, clean, and family friendly.

Love this place. It is a nice area to walk and visit shops. They also have games for kids, an aquarium and restaurants. Have been to myrtle beach numerous times and always have to make a stop here!

Key West Grill

–The cheese pizza was like cardboard with good cheese on it! Total bummer to waist your time and money here on vacation when there are so many other better places to eat.

My family and I only live a few hours away so we come here often. There are many activities here that all revolve around shopping lol. There are loads of places to eat or buy baked goods or candy, there are a few rides, there is a IMAX theater, and too many clothing stores to count. Bring your money and have a fun time with your family or date. Keep in mind this is a tourist attraction so while you might find some cool stores you won’t find anywhere else you’re also going to pay a lot.

Great shopping and restaurants fun to walk around. Lots of types of shops and boutiques. Try Liberty Steak House and get taffy at Wee-​R-​Sweetz for dessert. You can watch them make it and pick from dozens of flavors. There is zip lining too.

Best place for a family to walk around. Very entertaining activities and entertainment they have all around. The shops are awesome and not all the same thing like you’d see on the boardwalk. Very clean and new. Best place in myrtle beach to just relax and walk. The taffy shop was awesome as well. Everyone was very friendly!!!

Huge property with many shops and attractions. Similar to Barefoot Landing but much larger, we spent the better part of a day just walking around and going in and out of all the stores. There were over a dozen restaurants to choose from, such as a Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville, Senior Frogs, and others. There was also a Ripley’s aquarium and a large area of amusement rides that were closed due to the time of the year. There is also a movie theater and a mini-​golf course. We had a good time walking around and checking everything out. I think this place would be more fun for kids in the summer, as there is a lot for them to do here. For adults, in terms of the quality of the stores and lack of kids attractions, Barefoot Landing is a better choice.

Nice place to walk around, look in some shops, feed the fish, get some ice cream. That’s some of the inexpensive stuff you can do here. It’s a bit disappointing if you think it’s actually at the beach, though, because it isn’t. If you have a lot of money to burn, you will find a ton of things to do here.

The Tourist Trap of Myrtle Beach!
Broadway at the Beach is an interesting little shop and walk about area that seems to cater itself to a variety of families and high school students, mixed with the crowd of heavy drinkers heading back to the multiple South Street-​esque kind of commercialized restaurants they have there. There is a variety of stores to shop in offering fairly the same no value items that you could get anywhere else along the boardwalk area, mixed with some simple rides for young children & a few alternative rides, such as water walking inflatable all as well as zip lining across the lake and a quick speed boat that shoots up and down the water for a quick adrenaline rush.
I can certainly see why families will attended to burn a few hours throughout their night, plus they offer fireworks on certain nights, though parking can be a hassle there. For my amusement though, it was mostly just ice cream and booze that kept me around that place so long. Though it can get a little weird walking around with a big drinking mug of some colorful concoction as little people leap in front of your overly drunken walking legs.

A must do if your at Myrtle Beach.
Came here during my vacation and loved it. They have the perfect mix of everything whether you or coming with your family or with your friends. This area has tons of shops, rides and restaurants. In particular to cater to the party crowd they have a Wet Willies, Fat Tuesday, Señor Frogs and MargaritaVille all steps away from each other. Cant get any better than that!!! You’ll definitely enjoy this place if your in the area.

We love Broadway at the Beach. Even though being locals it can be kinda touristy, it’s still a great time. You can head here during the day for some great shopping, or at night for a nice section of night clubs and bars.

Visited during the summer one early afternoon, but decided not to stay to check out the fireworks (which at the time were on a Tuesday and Friday night). It is not hard to locate off of Rt. 17 Bypass as it is in the vicinity of a wax museum, a grand prix race track, a water park and an upside down house, among other things. That upside down house, with its palm trees (WonderWorks) is one of the features within Broadway on the Beach, so at least you know that you are in the general area.
Parking was not hard for us — at first it seemed like parking was tight as there were cars parked by curbs and no space was in sight — this was near Ripley’s Aquarium. However, as we got further away from the Aquarium, we saw tons of empty spots — near the Yankee Candle Company (Parking area 6). It is good to keep track of what area you parked in (parking areas are labeled by numbers) and pick a store that you are parked near — it would not be good if you forgot where you parked as there are tons of vehicles at this place. Also be prepared to do a lot of walking.
When I first came here, I did not know that almost everything here is outdoors — it is not like a mall, so it is best to visit when the sun has cooled down as the heat can get to you. I did not really go into a lot of the stores, but from our visit, this is what I remember: Kohr’s Ice Cream (not), Wet Willie’s (love their food and flavored daiquiris), It’s Sugar (candy everywhere and big sized ones too) and Flamingo Joe’s (love their T-​Shirt sayings and trinkets). Also saw the Zip line (it would be nice if it covered the whole area) and one of those speeding Jet Boats in the big lake area — not too many folks were on that boat due to the heat (it was 90 plus on the day we visited), but as the day dwindled, more went out. We can never forget the catfish by the WonderWorks building… OMG…put in your quarter, get some fish food, throw it in the lake, and they all eat like they have been starving for years, mouth clapping and all… hilarious.
On this visit, we did more walking and watching and less spending. I would say that was a day well spent.

This is the place to go when you can’t face the beach another day. There is do much to do here.
There is Ripley’s Aquarium, putt-​putt, boat rides and paddle boats, roller ball (large plastic tubes on the water that you get inside of to roll) and plenty of shops and restaurants to keep you occupied for the day. Bring some quarters to get food for the fish and ducks.
There are also some carnival rides for the small children although I would check on the times of operation for them.
There is something to do at all times of day and night.

Nous y sommes allés deux soirs de suite soit les 29 et 30 juin 2015.
Un endroit idéal pour changer d’ambiance si vous avez un trop-​plein de la mer et de la foule festive.
Le premier soir, c’était pour aller souper au Joe’s Crab Shack et le deuxième, pour visiter l’aquarium. Nous avons découvert ce site par pur hasard en rencontrant une fille qui travaillait à la promotion du restaurant dont je parle au début et qui nous a invités à aller y manger.
C’est vraiment bien fait bravo aux concepteurs. Bien sûr, votre portefeuille peut subir un grand coup si vous vous laissez aller dans vos élans gastronomiques et vos désirs de vous faire brasser la cage dans tous les manèges dont certains sont pas mal étourdissants mais il y a aussi moyen de seulement vous balader et observer le bourdonnement des gens qui pour la plupart sont des familles avec des enfants débordants d’énergie.
Nous avons vraiment aimé ce Broadway at the beach qui est un peu comme un petit Disneyland.
C’est situé à environ 7 km de Ocean Blvd au niveau de la 21ième avenue où était notre motel.
Facile de s’y rendre avec google map ou vos GPS. Calculez environ 12 minutes en voiture.
Nous avons pris plusieurs photos et nous en mettrons bien quelques-​unes ultérieurement.
Nous recommandons franchement ce site.

Great touristy place very clean great for younger kids or a day out of the sun. good combination of shops and things to do but again very touristy. Lots of shops for all ages and just about something for everyone.
Parking all over so that was useful and easy to find. Strollers and wheelchairs for relatively reasonable prices.
would recommend for anyone who wants a relaxing shopping excursion.

Now that’s a shopping plaza.
We were on vacation in Myrtle Beach and were looking for something to do. Luckily we happen upon Broadway at the Beach. There were stores, restaurants, attractions, amazing. There was so much to see and do that we could have easily spent a whole day (and maybe 2 or 3) here.
When we went we had plans for later that evening, so our time was some what limited. Unfortunately, that meant we were unable to take part in the attractions or restaurants. However, we did walk the area and visited a few stores.
The stores were varied and offered a little bit of everything. There was something for everyone, which is great.
In regards to the location itself, there was a rather large parking area, so finding a spot was not a problem. The area was clean and well maintained. It was really an excellent place.
Should we ever be in the area again, we will definitely be visiting again, and this time we’ll allow ourselves some additional time to do other things that we missed this time.

If you scoured the planet to find the Meanest Man in the World, I would bet you a box of McNuggets that Señor Grumpy would have fun here.
My God, there is so much amazement to see. Beautiful scenery with ponds and fishes and ducks, sculptures and gardens, hundreds of retail stores, dozens of restaurants, concert halls, an amusement park with rides and carnival games. Get the idea?
The weather is gorgeous, the vibe is very nice, the entertainment options are limitless.
Well on second thought, you can scratch one of the entertainment options. The Tilted Kilt just closed, I hear they are relocating near a golf course where their target customers won’t have to bring their wife amd kiddies.

Yeah, it’s touristy. And, yeah, it’s packed… but what a fun way to spend a few hours on vacation!
They have pretty much everything for everyone. Do you feel like drinking yourself into a stupor and dancing the night away? They have Señor Frog and Carlos and Charlie’s for that. Want to sit down and eat yourself into contentment? Try Capriz. Ever want to try to ride and electronic rodeo bull? They’ve got that, too. Are you, or do you know a pepper head? Check out Pepper Palace! Did you say, «Helicopter rides»!? Sure, they’re got that…$ 20 per person! Have kids who love amusement park rides? Broadway at the beach has you covered!
There are rock climbing walls, ropes courses, zip lines, speed boat rides… restaurants, kiosks with food and light up toys… a giant castle mini golf game, theaters, MagiQuest, an aquarium… novelty stores for kids and adults alike! Seriously, you want for nothing in this compound.
A must visit on vacation!
