Big Daddy’s Roadhouse Grill

First time here, sorry but my last time. Order the sirloin 6 once and the rib combo. The sirloin was sour tasting and over cooked and overly seasoned. There was not a steak taste only some chemicals they soak the sirloin in. Oh remember it not a steak. Just a look of a steak. Worst sirloin ever tried to eat. Stay away!

Over priced and bad food, don’t go there, not would every go there again, don’t know how they stay open with staff without all of there front gums flapping around

Made the drive out here because we saw online it was open until 11pm. It’s now 9:15 and was told it closed 45 minutes ago. I’d normally give this a one star, but the woman who walked over and explained was very nice about it. Looks like the service would have been great, but the hours of operation need adjusted.

Delish! The food was great (charcoal grilled). Atmosphere pretty relaxed. And real friendly people too! This was thanksgiving dinner for us and we stopped because it was open. I am really glad we did. This place is great.

Wanted a steak on Thanksgiving day. Chose this place because it was open, DESPITE the reviews. We were pleasantly surprised! Salad was delicious, bread was yummy, and steaks were well cooked. Only complaint– the steak was a little under seasoned but a sprinkle of salt took care of that. Service was very friendly and attentive.

Wait staff above and beyond, fun, kind and knowledgeable. Need to try the BUCKET!

So I’ve eaten at a few low steak houses that aren’t chains, this might be the worst. If you’re reading this, go ahead and skip this place while you still can. Otherwise, it’s a place that you’d have to put steak sauce on a steak to get any sort of flavor. The fries were my favorite part.

Food was good, well cooked steak. Prices were what you expect for a tourist town. Portions were similar to an Outback Steakhouse. Not one of the servers had a smile on their face. Everyone there seems miserable. It really brought down the mood and atmosphere

This place was great. My steak was huge, the salad dressing was the bomb. The ribs were falling off the bone. Fried pickles were good too

My fiancé and I decided to try this place out with two of our friends while we were in town. We heard about the award winning ribs and had to give them a try. They were amazing. Our server on the other hand was so rude. My fiancé ordered the ribs but the server missed it. So when our food came out he said something. The server snapped back and said no you didnt. It wouldn’t have been a big deal. The ribs came out in two minutes. We were a table of four servers and we were shocked. Even if he didn’t order the ribs that is not how you should treat your guests. Took forever for drinks, forgot napkins, took 10 minutes for bread. He was terrible. We will be back because the food was really great. If the same server was there we will ask for someone different.

I came here for dinner with my family. Its suppose to close at 11:00 I get here at around 9:08. The hostess says they are closed for the night. I left i called at around 9:45 to see if there are open because online says other wise. I was informed they just closed 15 minutes ago. HUH!

Was hoping for some good BBQ. Not what I got. Ribs were dry and overcooked and the sides were bland. How can you screw up fries coleslaw fried pickles and chicken? Pulled pork sandwich was just mediocre. There has got to be better BBQ!

Horrible service. Ordered ribs and scallops. Ribs fell off the bone but have had much better tasting ribs. Scallops were like chewing on rubber. Meals came 2 minutes after salads were delivered as well. Would not recommend.

Disappointed. Burgers were over cooked and fries were cold. Place was not cheap. They don’t serve beer on Sunday’s. Would not recommend.

This place wasn’t that great. The steak I ordered was dry and burnt, mind you I asked for it medium rare. Way over priced for what they serve. Don’t let the Unilocal reviews fool you.

Decided to try ribs and steak. The ribs were as stated and fall off the bone. The steak was cooked perfectly, but was charcoal charred a bit. The salad and bread were amazing. I would definitely return if we were in myrtle beach.

For a family of four, we ordered 3 steaks and a cheese quesadilla and fried pickles for the appetizer. We were greeted by Isaac who was also our waiter. He was very friendly and he seemed to enjoy his job. Food was good and we left very full and had leftovers. I would recommend to everyone

My husband and I came here, because another restaurant was closed. As we entered, I felt like we were in a souvenir shop, keep going and you enter the restaurant. We requested and got a booth to sit in. This restaurant was nearly full at the time we came.
My husband ordered the rib dinner and I had a steak. We were provided with an absolutely delicious salad and some ordinary bread before dinner arrived. Our waitress was busy, but polite and accommodating.
Our dinners arrived and my steak was a little overcooked, brown through and through, but still moist and delicious. The seasoning was a little heavy, but still delicious. My husband tried to pick up a rib, but all he got was a bone. We made a graveyard plate and he kept eating it, but complained it wasn’t that good. I tried it and it was good, but he didn’t like that the ribs were not smoked, as he’s now accustomed to.
He ate the dish, but could not get over the ribs not being smoked. My dinner was fine, but not memorable. This is a nice establishment with friendly folk serving you, and the food is ok, but nothing to shout about.

All I can say is «Meh».
We went here because the place had decent Unilocal reviews and it was within walking distance from our hotel. I would never go back. Everything about this restaurant was just bland. I had a cup of chili as an appetizer which was watery and flavorless. My boyfriend had the hot wings which tasted like sauce from a can. The $ 3 margaritas were disgusting, straight bottled mixer. The ribs did in fact fall off the bone as advertised, however they lacked any kind of seasoning and actually tasted like tuna. The macaroni and cheese was actually pretty good, it’s the only thing I would recommend ordering to be honest. The best thing about our meal was the Miller Lite. We paid $ 70 for a meal we didn’t finish and had no desire to take home.

On vacation had passed their sign saying best ribs so decided to see if the sign was true. It was TRUE. The ribs were fall off the bone delicious. Would go again on our next vacation for sure.
