I was craving frozen yogurt like no other and I was so excited to have found this place. It got great reviews and I couldn’t wait to get the giant cheesecake pieces with some fruit. *sad trombone*
Due to ‘maintenance’ they had no cheesecake, no fruit and only a few of the regular toppings. I didn’t want to be rude and walk out so I got come vanilla with Heath topping and paid way more than I wanted to for it.
Oh well; maybe next time…

This is a cool little yogurt place in market common. They rotate the flavors and everything tastes really fresh. In the slew of frozen yogurt chains that are popping up everywhere right now, the barking fish is a small yogurt shop.
The yogurt itself is great quality and so are the toppings you can put on it, they have a huge variety of toppings.
Definitely make this a stop when you’re out shopping especially when the heat gets high around here in the summer!

Favorite place to go when I’m in need of something sweet. Great frozen yogurt and great service. My favorite is the tart and anything fruity. I also love loading up my yogurt with all the unhealthy toppings because ‘why not?’. There are healthy toppings however, but I mostly prefer the Oreos, Reece’s, and sprinkles:) Highly recommend going here if you are anywhere near Myrtle Beach.

Kids seem to enjoy the frozen yogurt! Appears to be one of the healthier frozen yogurt restaurants with no sugar added and such, if you’re really into the no added items usually put into foods.
Topping variety was good; fruits, cereals, candies, syrups, the whole nine yards. They even had huge chunks of cheesecake and full size reese cups! The frozen yogurt tasted great; creamy, refreshing, delicious. Great for a really hot day, if you’re walking around market common.
However there were only maybe 5 flavors to choose from. And 1 of which was the usual plain tart option, that not many people tend to go for. Not much of a froyo variety. They do tend to switch up the flavors every so often, so that’s a plus. Maybe when you make your way in, there will be a better yogurt variety up! Very small inside. Only 3 tables with either 2 or 3 chairs at each. They offer some outdoor seating as well, but with being in Myrtle Beach, rarely would you find me sitting out in the heat over being in the air conditioning!

Delish froyo… Totally healthy with many topping options… Pricey but worth it… Good for dogs too — they have pup cups!!!

Overpriced, given the high price per ounce, the topping selections should have been extreme, but variety and quantity was average at best. Flavor selection was about six or seven choices. Taste was good.

Love this yogurt! They have great flavors and it is good for you! They have pet friendly patio seating as well.

Someday I’m going to try something besides chocolate. Today is not that day however! Small & quaint not like the big chain frozen yogurt places. Nice place to sit outside & people watch

The Barking Fish is my go-​to place for a natural, low-​calorie treat that does not force me to sacrifice flavor. Some of their flavors may be seasonal, but when available the pistachio and eggnog yogurts are incredible! The pomegranate and chocolate aren’t bad either. I think they only use fructose or Stevia for sweetening and all the yogurts are low-​fat or non-​fat. Their frozen to-​go cups are great for when I’m in a hurry and don’t have time to sit down. Otherwise, there’s both indoor and outdoor seating.

This place is great! I went in search of it after researching for a new yogurt place in the Myrtle Beach area. I ventured into this place along with my sister in high hopes… Especially, since we both LOVE fro-​yo & creamy marshmallow topping! We were greeted by two very friendly, yet funny women who showed us around the shop and told us about the business. They let us try every flavor while describing why they started the business and what the business’s platform was. I thought it was very cool to find out the owner is trying to bring awareness to human trafficking. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors — dark chocolate, peanut butter, & vanilla bean were my favorite! However, I was disappointed there was no creamy marshmallow topping, hot fudge, or crushed peanuts. :(But that didn’t stop me, I found some sprinkles, chocolate syrup and whipped cream and loaded that bad boy up. Delicious AND nutritious. Can’t get better than that! Overall, I give it four stars for a great place, friendly staff, and nutritious (yet, delicious) frozen yogurt!

I ventured to the Barking Fish after a Unilocal search in the Market Commons area. Two ladies sitting outside greeted me and the one proceeded to tell me all about the shop and invited me in to sample some flavors. I enjoyed all the samples but surprisingly got vanilla because it was so simply good, like pure vanilla bean. They didn’t have marshmallow topping (the creamy kind not the actual marshmallows) but had a berry mixture that I topped my yogurt with. Wowsers! That berry stuff sure was good!
The staff was very friendly and I love that they are supporting an awareness for human trafficking. The price was a little steeper than I can buy it at my local shop but seeing what the money goes to makes that worth it in the end. I like a business with a greater purpose, especially when it involves helping others in need.

Awesome Frozen Yogurt. Being diabetic, I love the fact that there is no added sugar. I was able to enjoy a very tasty treat without the blood sugar spike. Staff is friendly and the flavors are delicious. Had fun sampling. Love the cappuccino smoothie, but the chocolate frozen yogurt is my favorite.
