Horrible. Dirty. Ragged. Smelly. I would never ever stay here again. There were cigarette butts behind the furniture, cockroaches and plugs that didn’t work. The 1980’s model tv was bolted down, but didn’t work anyway.

I stayed in this motel about a year ago and first thing I noticed was all the obvious drug addicts hanging around the pool. It also looks like they are renting the rooms out by the week or month. The desk clerk was not friendly and to top it all off, someone ransacked my motorcycle saddlebags overnight. Didn’t think it would do much good to complain to the tweakers running the place so I sent an email to the home office. Got the usual«we are sorry your stay with us wasn’t up to your standards» oh, «and please accept this certificate for a one night free lodging at a motel 6 of your choice». Ha, like I would ever stay at that dump again. Maybe I can find one in some other part of the world to use it in. But am definintly staying away from the one in Muskogee.

The town of Muskogee, OK is a dump, but I really can’t blame this motel. It was clean & affordable, the staff extremely friendly, seemingly updated since the other reviewers. It was the locals around the motel that drops the rating. Unsavory characters wandering through the parking lot, loud & obnoxious people obviously under the influence of something(on a Sunday night). Highly unlikely will ever stay in this town again, not the motel’s fault. Would be great if 69 was turned into a limited access interstate to avoid stopping in this hole.

By now most have heard Jim Gaffigan’s waffle house skit. In this motel 6 we found the hotel equivalent to a gas station bathroom. Upon entering our stall we were greeted by a wall roach and a lovely 19″ tv that I think I sold in the late 90’s. A plus was the friendly gent at the front desk who informed me there is no continental breakfast but they got coffee. A high one star because it was the cheapest place in town and the true one star experience we compare all hotels to included a tornado siren outside our room that went off every two hours and a tv remote that was checked out at the front desk. This is half a notch up because we had a refrigerator in our room. Tip for all comers– bring extra clothes, you’ll probably want to sleep in them!

This place was scary… there were men loitering around our truck/trailer and then we caught him peeking into our window! The room smelt like dirty house and the carpets were gross. It was not comfortable to sleep here because of the people and the dirty feeling the whole room gave off. We stopped here on our move from TX to MO and let me warn you there is nothing in the town! It was hard to find a decent and clean place to eat!
