Dr Eastman is an amazing doctor. As someone who had multiple health issues and multiple doctors, he definitely tasks the cake. He is one of very few doctors who truly cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him!

The worth doctor ever! I was going to him for 10 years, complaining for the pain I had in the right side of the intestine. He performed the colonoscopy many times on me, but never found anything. Then, I came to him because I had the bright blood in the stool. He again did not find anything.
Later, in one month, I visited another doctor, and was diagnosed with a stomach cancer. It was already too late

I take my mom to see Dr. Eastman. He has a great bedside manner and is very patient and explains things really well. Just what you’d want in a doctor. My mom has a few different doctors she goes to for various things, but Dr. Eastman is by far her favorite.

Dr. Eastman and his staff were truly a blessing to me. After experiencing some peculiar symptoms, including discharge of a clear liquid through the pores of my skin in my abdominal area, and other symptoms I thought indicative of a liver malfunction I sought a consultation with Dr. E. His staff was upbeat and accommodating at all times, had me fill out the new patient docs from their website, and were as prompt as possible in getting me in to an exam room, considering you can never predict how long the exams of patients ahead of you are going to take.
Dr. Eastman examined me and sent me for several tests, including an MRI, ultrasound and x-​ray, and immediately determined something else was going on and that I should be seen by an OB-​Gyn surgeon (Dr. Ghosh in San Marcos). From the testing done by Dr. Eastman and a brief exam, Dr. Ghosh determined I had a cyst in my abdomen which turned out to be 14″ across, weigh — as it turned out — close to 65 pounds, and was wrapped around everything but my American Express card. A month later (due to a necessary cardiac test and two visits to my cardiologist that had to be done first), the cyst was removed (along with all female doodads and appendix), I have lost a total of 85 pounds and, at 70 years old, have more energy than I had when I was forty.
Bless Dr. Eastman and his diagnostic skills and intuition. Due to the gradual onset of my problem, no doubt over decades, I was miserable for much longer than I realized and if it wasn’t for Dr. Eastman’s perception, experience and concern for his patients’ welfare, I would more than likely have never been referred to Dr. Ghosh, who saved my miserable (but not any more) hide. He comes highly recommended from a very grateful patient.

Doctor Eastmon is the best doctor I have experienced in as long as I can remember. His manner is outstanding. I wish I could clone him for a primary doctor.
The fist visit he explained everything so perfectly and after surgery he came to see how I was doing before I left the building. This is the doctor I would definitely recommend for your colonoscopy. The staff was great too. The only thing, my appointment for procedure was about 2 hours late. Might have something to do with scheduling. I would suggest calling before leaving the house to see if they are running on time before sitting in the waiting room unnecessary time.

Dr. Eastman performed my wife’s colonoscopy a couple of years ago, and she was very satisfied with him and her care. Upon calling to set up an appointment for myself for a pre-​colonoscopy evaluation with Dr. Eastman, a slightly contentious appointment staff member told me I’d have to be there a ½ hr early to fill out paperwork. The day prior to this appointment, she called to confirm, and again told me to be there at least ½ an hour early to fill out paperwork. Could I fill it out prior to coming in I asked? No, come in early. I discovered their forms on my own on their website, and arrived at 2:30, 15 minutes early for my 2:45 appt. At 2:50, I asked if Dr. Eastman was running on time. «Yes» was the answer, «but we are still processing your paperwork and should be ready for you soon.» This was amid constant staff chit-​chat about their dogs interaction with their dirty laundry, needing gold shoes, and other scintillating conversation. At 3:15 I was finally invited into a patient room. The same contentious staff member (I’ll call her «Ms. V.») weighed me, then attempted to check my blood pressure. After the cuff popped off 3 times, she finally went to plan B, a more reliable cuff. After waiting another 15 minutes, now, 3:30, I asked how much longer I’d have to wait. «We can’t control how many patients are in front of you» was the terse replay. When I asked to speak with the Office Manger, I was told there was none. I finally left, after advising them I thought they ran a very inefficient, unprofessional practice.
This is an example of an office who seems to have forgotten who the customer is — the patient — yes the ones who pay the bills (perhaps with insurance help) and their salaries. They think nothing of demanding new patients arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment, yet think nothing of keeping them waiting 45 minutes (and perhaps longer, I didn’t wait to find out) past their appointment time to be seen. They seem not to understand that patients may have to shuffle their own schedules and spend their own time and expenses (e.g. gas) to honor appointment times. The attitude seems to be they are doing patients a favor by seeing them. Common courtesy is practically non-​existent.
I strongly suggest finding an alternative practice for your gastroenterology needs unless you have an extremely long fuse or don’t mind feeling neglected.

I had an endoscopy done at this place, and they screwed me on the bill. I made sure to have them figure out what the fee for the procedure was going to be prior to scheduling it. The gave me a number that was supposed to be the max I would pay, and then after the procedure I received bills for hundreds more. When I called to see what could be done since I was quoted something completely less, they told me that there was nothing that they could do. If you are going to use them, get the fee in writing stating that they will charge that and no more cause they will screw you too otherwise!

Dr. Eastman and his staff are wonderful, I recently had a colonoscopy at the Temecula Valley Endoscopy center, the staff was excellent and Dr. Eastman is great he listens to your concerns and answers all your questions without you feeling rushed. If you need this kind of procedure done I would highly recommend this office and doctor
