The founders of ProLawn Turf have been designing and installing custom synthetic putting greens, golf practice areas, and artificial lawn projects in Southern California since early 1999. As CEO of Player’s Choice Putting Greens and ProLawn Turf, in the competition heavy Southern California market, has been designing and selling synthetic turf amenities for over 16 years. Mike has been diligent in making sure that the materials used are the absolute best available worldwide. Throughout this process, he has become an expert on turf components and has aligned with manufacturers who share the same standard and have the drive to improve. With seasoned tenure in the turf installation industry, he has been involved in the evolution of turf products and continues to seek out innovative materials and methods of installation that cannot be rivaled.

Just another testament to this company’s extra ordinary effort with customer service and satisfaction, my follow up as follows. A few months after the install, we noticed that the area around the drain had become more compacted hence making the drain slightly more prominent than we’d like. Although we could’ve lived with it, I just happened to mention it to the manager who e-​mail me during the holidays and to check up on how things were. No less than a few days later, doorbell rings and they at the house to remedy the issue in minutes! A Great company! Thanks again guys!

This is one of the most enthusiastic 5-​star reviews that I have written. They were responsive to my initial inquiry, providing the price quote, and in addressing interim inquiries that arose. Their quote was competitive. Before hiring them, I went to look at one of their recent installations. I was impressed. Upon hiring them, they helped me with the HOA application, which is a daunting process with my HOA. They scheduled the work to occur on a date that I selected and made sure to complete the work by the deadline associated with my utility rebate application. Their attention to customer service was impressive. They volunteered to remove and replace the concrete mow curb that their subcontractor installed because the initial curb cracked. The replacement curb did not crack. The synthetic turf looks awesome. Their customer service is unsurpassed. Their prices are reasonable. Their pride of installation is outstanding. I am running out of superlatives for describing ProLawn Turf. As you can see, they deserve a 5-​star rating for all aspects of their practice.

We haven’t actually installed our turf yet but I felt the need to write a review based on our dealings with ProLawn Turf so far. My husband and I have a ¼ acre of dirt and rocks. With a 1 year old running around, we decided to look into turf. Since our backyard is large, we were having a hard time seeing the big picture as far as design. Jay has come out 3 times to work with us on design and measurements! He is always punctual and offers great insight. For example, we never would have thought of building a retaining wall and adding a drain pipe on the grade above where the turf will be located. I am super excited to have ProLawn install our turf! It is going to bring so much life to our backyard! I will update this review after the turf is installed:)

We just had our artificial turf installed today. Amazing that they did this job in one day. They removed dead grass and had the new beautiful turf in within 6 hours. They ran into a little bump with a sprinkler issue (my husband was requesting of them to do for the outer plants which they did at no extra charge) so it took them an hour or two longer than it would have. There were about 7 workers here which were all very polite and nice and hard working. I love that the turf is the pet friendliest turf around and it really does look the most realistic. I highly recommend them.

I recently had ProLawn turf install 2000 sq ft of turf in my front yard in Vista. They showed up with 9 workers, all of the workers where professional and well trained. They removed all of the existing turf and installed the artificial turf in one day. The job came out absolutely beautiful. Their turf has a natural look not like the competitors. The price was great compared to other quotes we received. I would highly recommend them.

I’ve been shopping around for artificial grass since I’m in the middle of the rebate process so I stopped by last week and was able to meet with the owner Mike directly.
He had samples in the back of his truck and spent some time going over his product and his install process while answering all of my questions.
To me, customer service is everything… Mike was courteous and didn’t blow me off because I looked too young to even own a home or because I took some time out of work to go see him around the corner.
I haven’t yet made a decision since I haven’t heard back about my application, but if you’re looking for artificial grass, give Mike/​ProLawn Turf a shot!

We bought our first house back in November and loved everything about it except for the mound of dirt that was our side yard. My husband & I did a TON of research for turf and had 8 different local companies come out to give us a quote and get more information on each companies product. We decided to go with ProLawn because of their professionalism and pricing. They were reasonably priced and I loved the look of their turf best. I made the appointment with them and a few weeks later they came out to install. Installation day came and I had a few errands to run so I spoke with the guys and told them I’d be back in a few hours. Came home around 3 hours later and they were COMPLETELY DONE! They cleaned up after themselves (huge thanks for that) and I can’t say how happy I am with our turf. It not only looks gorgeous but the ease of it is amazing. I have a boxer and a yorkie and two crazy boys and they all love it. I’ve had the turf for 4 months now and love everything about it. We had a minor mishap with my boxer pulling up one of the corners around 2 weeks after they installed, I called them freaking out (didn’t want the husband to come home from work to find it) and they came that day to re attach and my husband didn’t even notice! I even tried to tip the man that came out but he said that he was happy to help and wouldn’t take the tip. All in all I am so completely happy that we decided to work with ProLawn and couldn’t recommend a better quality product or a better team. Thanks ProLawn for our always green yard! :)

Can’t even express how happy I am with the work they did. With the drought that California is experiencing I felt that turf would be the best option. This is a no maintainence yard that will stay beautiful for years. Mike came out to give us the estimate and made a beautiful rendering that made the decision even easier. From start to finish the yard was done in 2 days. I was blown away. The workers were all very respectful and polite and did a thorough job cleaning up after themselves. Jay came out and did a follow up to make sure we were happy and kept in constant contact with us throughout the whole process. I could go on and on but the bottom line is this company is amazing and I would recommend them to anyone.

Mike & David and their entire crew are so professional, courteous, and do amazing work. Mike was extremely patient with me with the changes I made for our Island garden and David was always so available to answer questions. The crew that came to our house to do the work were some of the most respectful gentlemen we’ve had. The grass is amazing– in the front and backyard. So nice to see «green» all the time. People stop buy our house and actually take their shoes off to walk in it. The little girl next door loves to sit in the garden island on the rocks. This company was not the least expensive, but gosh did Mike work with us within our budget. We had a few people come out who gave us a lower quote, but my husband was so impressed with Mike and his knowledge we just had to go with this company. I must say we do have the most impressive yard in our neighborhood.

We can’t say enough great things about our artificial lawn! ProLawn replaced all the grass in both the front yard and back yard of our home. They made the project so easy for us! They removed all the grass, and installed the new lawn in one day! The entire crew was polite, courteous, and professional. Everyone from the owner to the installation crew was helpful and kind to us and our two toddlers. The installation crew were good sports about having my two toddlers watch their every move all day long! I can’t rave enough about the product! We are in love. We use our yard every single day now. The lawn looks so real that my neighbor asked me what kind of sod we laid, and had to reach down and actually touch it when I told him it was fake! I love how well the lawn drains and is maintenance free! We are so happy with our decision to replace our grass and to use ProLawn!

Recently ProLawn completed a project at my home, replacing all the grass in my backyard with a combo of artificial turf in one section, and river rock, boulders, and stepping stones in the remaining area.
From start to finish I could not be more satisfied. From the initial in-​home presentation of choices and the details about the product, to the actual install.
Every person that represented ProLawn, from the sales person, to the men who did the intensive preparation and final install, every bit of which I personally watched, was professional, meticulous and courteous.

I am extremely impressed with this company. We were referred by a friend so I called and Mike came out to give us an estimate. He was punctual, the bid was in line with others we were getting, and Mike was professional and knowledgeable. Even though the bids were comparable to others we received, the product is better, more realistic looking, and the guarantee is almost twice as long as the others. We scheduled an install date. The guys were polite and articulate, professional and very efficient. Our ugly grass was taken out and hauled away, the preparations for the turf were done, turf was installed — all in record time. Plus they cleaned up every area they touched so the yard and patio and driveway are cleaner than when they got here. Now we are considering doing the front yard as well. I would recommend them to anyone considering «fake grass» and my husband is also very satisfied — and he was extremely hesitant in the beginning and very nervous about this project. He loves it and he is very picky!
