Our girls joined PCM in 2012. They were both in Pop Warner cheer and my baby sitter, who cheered at CBU, recommend we check out this gym!
We started out doing Mid Season. The girls LOVED it. Our youngest, who was 8 at the time, could only do a back handspring. By try outs, she was doing level 3 tumbling. Both our girls have excelled tremendously, in both the gym and in their personal life. They teach discipline, self respect, responsibility, team work, integrity and what it’s like to work hard and the rewards that come with it.
I have tried out other All Star gyms and they didn’t have the family and positive atmosphere that PCM has. The coaches genuinely care about their athletes. I’ve never had a coach call to check on my child before when she was sick. Every weekend we are being invited to do something fun with one of the families we have made friends with. There are so many team bonding activities! We have sleepovers, camp, parties, beach trips and more.
I highly recommend Pacific Coast Magic. We have been here 3 years and will cheer here until both girls are in college. They have an EXCELLENT shot at a scholarship as well.

This gym preaches family, and friendly. However, I think this gym was a huge disappointment from what I expected it to be. My daughter was a member for only one season but knew of them for many years. Last year she was an alternate. The owner needed her for two teams. The owner made several VERBAL AGREEMENTS WITH MY DAUGHTER such as «work for me and you don’t have to pay tuition» be my flyer and you don’t have to pay” go to the travel competitions and you don’t have to pay” as soon as my daughter was unable to go after four competions due to school, and work the owner got pissed off as SHE OFTEN DID ! after about a week she sends me to collections for 2000.00 dollars ! now I am fighting an issue that shouldn’t even be an issue. Seriously this gym does not communicate with you, return emails or phone calls. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ! THE OWNER DEALS WITH KIDS NOT PARENTS ! I have heard so many negative things about her but had never been the target of her malicious behavior until my daughter couldn’t go to a competition. needless to say I filed a complaint against this gym with the BBB and eventually my civil attorney will have to deal with them BUT I WARN ANYONE WHO HAS TO DEAL WITH THE OWNER MY ADVISE GO TO ANOTHER GYM OTHERWISE YOU COULD BE NEXT.

We have tried other Allstar gyms in the area and there is nothing like PCM! My daughters are learning more then just how to be cheerleaders they are learning how to be strong, self confident, independent girls! We have been with PCM since my girls were 3 and we look forward to being a part of the PCM family for many more years to come!!!

Pacific Coast Magic is the only gym in the area that I would consider to be a truly professional, family and team oriented facility. The location is fantastic; very large, clean, and inviting. The coaches are really top notch, they are all certified, enthusiastic, and very well trained in their sport. The owners are very professional and passionate about their sport and their program. Because of all of this, the quality of the teams and classes offered at PCM speak for themselves. I would highly recommend this gym.
On a separate note, in regards to another review posted below, I have been a part of this gym for 4 years, and have NEVER seen any of the behavior that is mentioned in the review. Because this is the reviewer’s only review, it sort of makes me think that they are issuing a personal attack, rather than an honest review. Just my thoughts..

The gym grew, nearly tripled in size, over the last year and quality significantly decreased. Management and leadership, stretched too thin, simply lost control of the daily operation I can only speak for the team my daughter was part of but we do not recommend you send your children to this facility. I have always strived to expose my kids to organizations that teach leadership, responsibility, character and teamwork. I believe that virtue must be taught along with coaching for coachiing to be truly effective. Recently I witnessed or was privy to the owner discussing students with other parents, losing control of her temper, and tossing paperwork that a student handed her, practices never acceptable in a serious sports organization. There are other options that are much more child centered, more healthy and supportive for kids; those that do not subject kids to temper, drama and poor behavior by adults as well as students. We view competitive cheerleading as a sport! PCM is not the example our young ones should see. Be judicious when selecting the environment you will expose your children to.
