I have taken several different cars to «My Mechanic» over the years and they are always a big help– especially when it comes to smog. I was buying a used truck and I wasn’t sure the smog the buyer had done was legit. These guys had me send them pictures and reviewed everything without actually having to bring the truck in and didn’t charge me anything! We did everything over the phone and via e-​mail. It’s hard to get service like this! I couldn’t be happier with «My Mechanic»!

If this post can save one person from being taken advantage of then it’s worth it’s weight in gold. I and my teenage son took in his car for a rattling noise. We were given price for an inspection and told they would call us. We left and returned after breakfast. The person at the counter looked shocked and asked why we came back without a call. That was a tip off something wasn’t right. The owner came out and asked the same thing? My sensors started to turn on. After a long wait, the owner took us to the back and gave us a laundry list of things that were wrong with the car… adding up to $ 3,000 plus. What? It was just a rattling noise? When he showed us the engine, there were large gashes in a couple of hoses. My stomach turned. I said thanks, we’ll get another quote, paid and started to leave before the owner snickered at us and said don’t go too far b’cuz you won’t make it. Oh-​oh. The other mechanic said the gashes were done by human hands and not normal wear and tear. I tried contacting the Better Business Bureau, but to no avail. Maybe I should have contacted Murrieta PD?

I have been going to this shop for 8 years now for all of my cars and truck. Hands down for honesty its the best. I’ve had my vehicle in other shops being told I needed work done which was not true. He has back all his work up and with Warranty. I have recommended all my friends which never had a bad experience. Smogs which he is a star dealer now and all of my oil changes and tune-​ups I recommended. He saved me money in the long run.

I just got a smog check here and could not be happier with the service. The people were very friendly, the test was done quickly, and the price was fair. The did not try to up sell me other repairs or service like some other shady places. I highly recommend this place, and I will certainly be back.

I’ve had two cars smog checked and both experiences went quite well. The gal who is at the front desk is very friendly and has a really nice sense of humor. The service was quick and the price was appropriate.

I just had an awful experience with my mechanic on Jefferson! I went in for a smog check and paid them the full amount to get an outmatic fail because I apparently dis not have this sticker that the manurfacrurer should have but on a part in my car! Although the smog check itself passed and my admissions were great he failed me! This guys name was Brett and he told me he had to fail me but yet still took my money and expressed if I come back after I go to dealer and get this sticker them he can re do my test at the same cost??? After I reacted that I could gp and get this sticker and he had already done the passed test would be charging me again he sai ok I will do for only $ 25 for u? What a money hungry jerk! They are bound to find something to get more out of u! I mean come on a simple smog check which i have always passed elsewhere failed because this shady company are out for a quick buck at you expense! Don’t go here!!!
