Commerce Bank of Temecula Valley

I didn’t think there was much difference between banks until I discovered Commerce Bank. The staff is friendly, helpful and unlike most of the big banks, actually knowledgeable.
I had a recent experience where I was trying to deposit a Canadian check with the words «U.S. Funds» clearly printed on the check. I went to Bank of American and was told bluntly that they would only credit my account at the value of the Canadian dollar which was significantly less. I instead took my check to Commerce Bank where they credited me the full amount at the US rate and told me they would call me if there were any problems. Several days later I got the call and all was processed without any problems.
Every time I enter the bank, the friendly staff greets me. I highly recommend this bank for friendly, knowledgeable service. You don’t have to be a big time player to get personal service. (They also have good cookies!)
A side note — another reviewer commented that you couldn’t use Apple products for on line banking. This is absolutely not true. I only have MacBook computers and I use on line banking without any problem.

Would not recommend this bank to ANYBODY. Something didn’t feel right and they were very contradicting and unethical. Was told one thing by somebody named Eugenia and when returned to the bank a week later was told something else by Lou Ellen Ficke. When confronted she said something completely different then she did our first interaction. I was dumbfounded that someone could look me in my face and LIE. I immediately closed my account. Also the customer service in general is terrible, and that’s being generous.

Yes I have been threatened by them as well, when they made the mistake. Be careful when you question them and or point out an error. Also the on line banking you can not use any Apple product, very hard to use. Like being back in the 80’s.

We use CBTV for our business banking and absolutely love them. They are so friendly, always accommodating and are excellent with communication. It’s a very personal experience there. Coil Salon Loves you guys!

Commerce Bank… where everybody knows your name. Banking with Commerce Bank is like banking with family. They treat me like a person and not like an account number.

Most banks have become so robotic and process you and your business as a number. If you are old enough to remember the good olé days where you were treated like a person and valued… you will be pleasantly surprised to find that exists here. Amazing staff, great service and highly involved in the community! I highly recommend them to anyone but especially if you own a business!

Love this bank. Friendly tellers, super clean and they know you by name upon walking in the door. What bank offers you bottled water when it’s hot? Not Wells Fargo!!! But Commerce does! I love having my business and personal banking here. Even when you have to call the bank, you get a person answering the phone… not PRESS 1 english! Commerce bank will always be my bank! My only complaint… they need one in Temecula!

Love this bank, I have used other banks in the past, but Commerce has been great for me! The website is super easy to use, I do all my bill pays from online and they pick up ALL ATM fees! Can’t get better then that! I recommend them to everyone! Who wants to pay any additional fee just for using an ATM somewhere, not me!

Everything was okay until the one time they treated me just like the big banks do. Then I began to question why bank with them if they are going to be just like THEM?!
