Grand Master Bob Chaney and his wife Sarinda Chaney are owners and head instructors. Our Tiny Tumbling Ninja curriculum is designed to teach and prepare pre-​school children between the ages of 3 yrs. through 5 yrs. to successfully enter into a full-​range Martial Arts program starting at 6 yrs. and up. Tae Kwon Do stands head and shoulders above the rest of the traditional martial arts in popularity resulting from its association and membership in the IOC and the recognition and prestige that accompany acceptance as an Olympic sport. More importantly however are the character building attributes associated with the philosophical and spiritual teachings that TKD offers our youths. Muay Thai is for the more serious martial artist and is recommended for teens and adults. Conditioning is a key part of this class. If you are looking to get more fit without the boredom of aerobics this is the perfect class for you!

Bob Chaney’s school for martial arts has so far been a great experience. From the first day, the Chaney’s were super friendly and helpful with any questions I may have had for them. They are a great husband and wife team and both are EXTREMELY accomplished in martial arts. I researched quite extensively before joining BCMA studio. I looked at other studios as well as different disciplines. All roads at the end led th Bob Chaney’s! You simply will not find a school in the area with instructors as knowledgeable as the Chaney’s. Their credentials speak for themselves.

My son had attended here for a few years before relocating. Since relocating I greatly miss and appreciate Master and Mrs. Chaney for all that they have taught my son. They have not only taught my son self defense, given him confidence but most importantly RESPECT. They truly took the time to get to know my child and his learning style. Most martial arts schools I’ve visited are simply just a class. it is NOT at all like that at Master Chaney ’ s Martial Arts, they treat you like family. Thank you Master and Mrs Chaney for the years of training at your training center.

Bob Chaney Martial Arts studio is much more than a place to learn martial arts; Master Chaney and Mrs. Chaney have a very well rounded program. My 9 yr old son has not only learned Karate, but also improved his self-​confidence, respect for others, discipline, and overall social skills he will need to be successful in life.
The Chaney studio is a place for the whole family; we like the pot-​luck events after the tests, and our son loves the ninja night sleepovers.
The skills my son has demonstrated after only one year is something I wish I would have had, and I think every child should have. The ability to defend themselves is priceless, and the self-​confidence that comes with that is great.
I recommend Bob Chaney Martial Arts Studio and hope to be able to stay with them for years to come.

If you’re in the Temecula area I highly recommend this Martial Arts training facility. They offer Muay Thai, Karate, Tae kwon do, and Boxing. They offer classes for three years old and up. This is a very welcoming environment where students become like family. There is a great sense of the true meaning of TEAM here as well as RESPECT. Bob and Sarinda Chaney are awesome at what they do!

I’ve been training under Grand Master Chaney for a few years now. Through the discipline, dedication and strength taught to not only me, but other students, I have earned my black belt and am currently working towards my second degree. Both Master And Mrs. Chaney are strict and try to teach all students respect and control of one’s self. I’ve had my children attend and they enjoyed every part of training, from tumbling ninjas to the upper levels. I have nothing but respect for Master Chaney and his studio. I recommend it to everybody.

I am only writing this review here because I contacted them in regards to this matter and never recieved a response. This is an e-​mail I sent to them in regards to my experience:
We were in your training site last week with my son Steven. Just wanted to contact you and let you know I have been feeling upset because of the way you treated my son on the second day of his evaluation. I did not appreciate you shushing son from the moment we entered the building to the moment we left. I know he talks a lot but you had no right to tell my son to shut up not once but twice and in my face. I feel so stupid for staying and let you work with my son for another 20 minutes after that, the only think I wanted to do was to get get him and get out of your studio but I stayed and let him finish. I do not know if you remember but I asked you if you tell the kids to ship up and you said NO, but I know you did say it to my son, may be you did not mean to but those were the words that came out of your mouth and that was not OK. I should had told you on that day how I felt but I didn’t and I have to live with the fact I let a complete stranger disrespect my son in front of my, but that will not happen again. I know Steven talks a lot but you had no right on treating him like that. Even though you school was out of price range for what we wanted to spend I was considering making the effort to pay for the classes because he has been asking about attending karate school for so long but how I am going to take him there now? Lastly, I would really appreciate if you will refund me the money I paid ($ 30) because I do not think is fear you charged me to treat my son like that.

Of all it’s martial arts schools I look into Bob Chaney martial arts is the best school I’ve ever attended. I received my first degree black belt studying under master Chaney. The instruction I received at his school was clear and easily understood. Master Chaney takes into account the abilities of each of his students as he trains them. He took into account my age during my training for black belt. I would recommend Bob Chaney martial arts to anyone of all ages.

The Chaney’s studio is the studio to join. Look anywhere and you will not come close to this studio. Just google Master Chaney for his background which is unsurpassed and Mrs. Chaney is the heart of the studio — they are a great team. My son started in their Upland studio @ age 5, he loved the training and with developmental and concentration issues the training took him to his current age 17 into an exceptionally developed Ivy League bound student. From basic Tae Kwon Doe forms to boxing to Muay Thai, this studio has been a total life forming/​growing experience. Needless to say — we love the Chaney’s and this studio — Bam!

Mr Chaney has been my martial arts instructor since I was a child. 30 years later, we are still friends and I can see how the discipline and integrity he installed in me as a kid has helped me become a more successful and focused adult. He is the best of the best, not just when it comes to teaching self defense, but he teaches kids and adults how to improve all aspects of their lives through his teaching. Training with him will be a life changing experience for anyone that consistently trains with him.

I researched every martial arts school within a 30 minute drive of Murrieta and Bob Chaney’s was head and shoulders above the rest. Their Tiny Tumbling Ninjas class, tailored specifically for 3 – 6 year olds, was a great fit for my 4.5 year old and he loves attending class. His discipline and coordination are improving dramatically and the instruction is bar none. Highly recommend.

I was so impressed with sarinda and master chaneys experience… they both are true professionals and work exceptionally well with all kids. After looking at 4 other martial arts facility, I chose this one. My son was 6 when he started and has come such a long way with… eye contact, focusing, learning to follow step by step directions, disciplined and respecting others (always answering with «mam and sir»). I highly recommend this facility. ;)

Master Chaney is a Great teacher. He has great stories and analogies to help visualize how and when techniques are performed. He has 44+ years of experience; his teaching comes off effortless, yet effective, and deep.
The path to perfection is long. I like how he always finds something that needs correction, so improvement is directly proportional to how often you train.
Supportive environment. Everyone works well as a team. No egos. Pot lucks during testing.

Mr. And Mrs. Chaney are amazing people. They are not only extremely educated and gifted in martial arts l, they truly care about the families and students there. They plan events that keep the students and families engaged in and outside the classroom. Since starting classes at Bob Chaney’s Martial Arts, my son has learned a massive amount of self discipline. I visited a total of 5 karate schools before deciding on this one for my two boys. Having practiced martial arts before to include a 5 year stint in Okinawa, Japan, I was looking for a certain feel in the school. Not that there was anything wrong with the other schools, like I said, I just knew what I wanted. Master Chaney’s understanding of children’s different learning styles was impressive. He could see the difference in personalities between my sons and knew just how to address both. And Mrs Chaney is very warm but very firm in her teaching. I didn’t want my kids just taking «lessons», they needed to be a part of a school. The Chaney’s teach camraderie, respect, as well as Martial Arts. And from what I’ve seen the last few months, they’re not giving anything away. The students have to earn it. I’ve already seen the progress in my kids.
They have close circuit TV in one room over, to watch the class while I work on my laptop, compliments of the free wi-​fi they offer.
As far as my pocket book goes, they offer a couple different programs for different budgets. Tip: I paid cash ahead and saved enough money to take my kids to Universal Studios :)
