Advanced Chimney Cleaning is owned by Steve Crankshaw who, together with his wife, Gail, founded the company in 1997. Steve has almost 20 years of chimney sweep experience and adheres to the industry standard guidelines outlined by the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) and the National Chimney Sweep Guild (NCSG). Steve takes pride in knowing there are no other dryer vents or chimney technicians in the Temecula Valley & surrounding areas who provide the level of service, skill and dedication that Advanced Chimney Cleaning has come to be known for.

Amazing people all around! We just bought our house and I don’t think our chimney or dryer vent had ever been cleaned since the house was built in 2004. I had originally scheduled just a chimney cleaning. They where here on time and explained step by step what they where going to do. I expressed my concerns about my dryer vent because my new energy efficient dryer was not being very efficient. Without hesitation he went and checked it and showed me pictures of what it looked like inside and it was not good. So I asked when they would be able to make it back out to take care of it for me, and he simply said «I can take care of it right now for you.» Wow! Was not expecting that! Such kind guys and funny. Kept my kids and myself entertained. Very clean and thorough. I will be calling them back next time and have already recommended them to a few people. Thanks guys!

Absolutely great family owned business. Knowledgeable, very friendly, prompt and clean! Great prices too… You can’t even tell that they were ever even in your house. Worked around my Christmas tree and I have off-​white carpet.
I was having serious issues with my fireplace and they are able to work me in their busy schedule. Now i can enjoy it for the holidays when my family comes to visit from out of state

My husband and I just moved into our first home. We knew absolutely NOTHING about chimneys, except that ours was filthy. I found Advanced Chimney cleaning here on Unilocal and gave them a call. Shelby was an absolute sweetheart. She was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgable. Her husband Eric came out (& was on time!) and was equally as wonderful. He gave me the run down on my chimney and was able to clean it same day. He left no mess (and you know this is a messy job!) and was in and out in about an hour.
Eric even offered to look into pricing out replacement doors as mine are beginning to fall apart. I will definitely recommend this company to others!

Advanced Chimney Care provided us with excellent customer service and they were extremely honest and fair. We property manage for a client and the gas fireplace was not working. The previous owner ignored the problem. We had trouble finding a company to help us with a gas fireplace. Shelby from Advanced Chimney was great to work with. She scheduled an appointment where a minor problem was found and fixed on the spot. Very fast turnaround time, and extremely professional. I called yesterday for an estimate and they said they could have the work done before they go on vacation today. Eric showed up, thoroughly cleaned my fireplace and chimney, and even helped me verify the gas line is still safe and operable (my wife and I have only burned wood since we moved in, no gas). The service was very fast and very clean. With my home sale pending, this was a huge relief and one more check in the box to close escrow. I have no basis for comparison with other companies, as this is the first time I’ve had a professional service my fireplace and chimney, but I can’t see why I would ever try anybody else.

Prompt, courteous, professional service! So happy we found this company. We just bought our home in Fallbrook and wanted our fireplace ready before moving furniture in. We could have waited because there was absolutely no mess whatsoever! Now we are confident we have a safe clean fireplace. Lots of good tips too! Superb company and awesome owner! I could not recommend this company more! AMAZING!
If you need your chimney cleaned or your dryer vent cleaned, call Eric Crankshaw! He is great! I had an appointment with him for 9 AM this morning. He showed up on time and was very professional while he was here. My appointment was to have my chimney and dryer vent cleaned. Eric inspected my chimney and told me that it does not have to be clean at this time! Wow! What an honest guy! My dryer vent wasn’t as bad as I thought it was. It was at the beginning stages of needing to be cleaned so I had him clean it while he was here. He even cleaned behind my washer and dryer for me! And, he took all the mess from the cleaning with him!
Great service, great guy, professional and great prices!
Remember people, Keep your dryer vent and fireplace/​chimney cleaned! If you failed to do so, your dryer and or house can catch fire and it WILL cost you so much more in the end!
I could go on forever about how great Eric and his company are but, I’ll stop now because you’re probably tired of reading!

Very impressed! I just purchased a foreclosure home and was certain the dryer vent and chimney would need cleaning. Eric showed up on time, looked at the chimney. Nope, didn’t need to be cleaned. Checked the dryer vent, nope that was pretty clean too, besides some cobwebs. He said he wouldn’t feel right charging me for a clean that wouldn’t made much different (dryer). He gave me some great tips on my fireplace, and did take the gas hose out and cap it and also fixed the door. Such a great company! Highly recommend. I’ve dealt with chimney cleaning companies in San Diego who tried to nickel and dime you for everything… total opposite here.

I just moved to menifee a few month’s ago so talk about home sick! Well after today my family will feel more at home due to our fireplace being up and running now thanks to advanced chimney.
Eric was the gentleman that came and did a inspection and cleaning… CLEANING! It was so dirty even he was surprised! He showed me how to light the fire and went over some do’s and don’ts (I’m new to wood burning), he was very knowledgeable and went over chimney anatomy with me just for my peace of mind.
He uncapped my gas pip and added a longer pip to it with holes (like I said I’m new at this!) He added wood turn on the gas… BEAUTIFUL… We now had a fire, did I mentioned the cleaning he did? It was kinda Scarry to think all that was in there!
I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

Glad I found out about this business. Had been putting off having our dryer vent checked out, but was so glad we contacted Advanced Chimney to do the job. Everything was a good experience from the scheduling, the appt. reminder call, and the actual service work. Our vent was quite dirty and could have caused damage to our dryer or even a lint fire. Now we can feel confident that we can use our dryer safely. Do not hesitate to call this company for your chimney or dryer vent cleaning, you’ll be glad you did!

Amazing company. Called last week and made an appointment for today. I wasn’t home yet but my dad and my son were and let them in to begin inspecting. I arrived home to find one of the men giving gloves to my son so he could «help» him. It was awesome to see and my son loved it. Then as we were sitting there, the man (who I can’t remember his name, sorry!) said, «Come check this out kids.» They didn’t want to go, so he pulled out two red squares and said it looked liked Santa had been here. They LOVED it! So personable. Now back to the task of reviewing the service, wonderful service, brought in all equipment to keep the area clean and clear. Fireplace looks wonderful and can’t wait to start using it. Will definitely recommend and will definitely use again. Thanks again!

What a great company. The woman who confirmed our appt., was so nice. They called on their way, they were even a little early. The guys were so nice, very professional & did an awesome job. I called Advanced Chimney because I was selling my house and I wanted to make sure my chimney was in good working order prior to selling. I was a little concerned about the state of my Chimney since I had never had it looked at since moving in. The crew arrived on time and we’re extremely professional. They made sure they covered the carpet and entryway. After checking my chimney, they offered to check my dryer exhaust vents to see if they needed any cleaning. I ended up only needing my chimney cleaned out and the job was fairly easy. Overall, very courteous, professional, and affordable!

I hadn’t cleaned my chimney in over 30 years and knew I really needed to get it done. I found Advanced Chimney Cleaning through a web search. I selected them based on the reviews I read online. I contacted them late one night through their web page and received a a detailed response the next morning. I was then able to talk to the owner to explain what I thought i needed done — I have a wood stove insert in my fireplace and wanted to make sure they could service it. I was happy they could and that they were able to meet my schedule for the clean up.
Steve, the owner, and his helper Matt came on time and explained what they were going to do, They set out a protective covering in front of the stove/​fireplace for their equipment. They worked quickly, efficiently, and were very willing to answer all of my «dumb» questions. I am very pleased with the quality of their work, the reasonable cost, and highly recommend them to anyone thinking about getting their chimney cleaned.

Great service from start to finish. The lady I have spoke with every time I’ve called is always very nice. Steve and his assistant came out when expected and did a great job with no mess. They were both very nice. The work was done well and in a timely manner. Steve even came out on a separate visit and kindly answered concerns I had about the fireplace walls and their safe function.
