I am a licensed insurance agent and I refer clients that I cannot write to Access West and I have my own insurance with this office. This office is knowlegable, I call sometimes for help with some of my clients. There is always a chance of uprates in premium. When the policies are written and this goes with any carrier the premium is an estimate until underwritten by an underwriter. As agents we compile as much information about the drivers, cars, buisness, and homes as we can from reports, details we compile from online, and information given to the agent directly from the policyholders. The underwriters get a VERY detailed motor vehicle report and/​or loss history for a home. They also might even have a 3^rd party vendor go out and inspect the outside of a home. Therefore, the price you are quoted and then decide to bind your policy can change. Unless you have a perfect driving record, have had no claims, and no every detail to a T about your home we cannot as agents guarantee that an underwriter will not find something that requires them to give you a rate increase. The driving records and loss history are very important to make sure we are fair to every driver across California, it eliminates discrimination. The details on a home are also important to make sure your home is insured at 100% replacement cost. The energy in this office is awesome and they are very professional.
