A.B.A. offers serious ballet training for all ages and experience. We specialize in training the aspiring professional dancer as well as training the dancer who takes class for the love of the art of ballet.

All of our instructors are former professional ballet dancers each with years of performing and teaching experience.

We take the time to work with each student and take special care to help each student find proper placement, alignment and proper technique. We also care deeply for the emotional well-​being of our dancers. We infuse a love of hard work, dedication and respect for the art of dance in each of our dancers.

Meet the Business Owner

Dana Nelson N.

Business Owner

Miss Dana received her training with Teresa Wells, formerly of Kansas City Ballet and has trained with Paul Koverman, Paul Giovionazzo, California Ballet, Robin Sheretz-​Morgan of the San Diego Ballet, Steve and Elizabeth Wistrich of City Ballet of San Diego, Wilson Morelli, Dame Sonia Arova, Jose Mateo of Ballet Theatre of Boston and Boston Ballet. She began dancing professionally at the age of 16, and has performed soloist and principle roles with Mirábilé Ballet Company, Ballet Theatre of Boston, California Ballet, San Diego Ballet, Spindle City Ballet, Pax Fiat and Island Moving Company-​Providence. Dana has training in Dance Medicine, Dance Kinesiology and Conditioning for Dancers. She is also a certified massage technician and mat Pilates instructor. She has been teaching for over 20 years, and has taught for Boston Ballet, Ballet Theatre of Boston, California Ballet, San Diego Ballet, San Diego Dance Centre, Ballet at the Heritage, Temecula Dance Company and California Ballet Ope
