Great theater but to the jerk ticket taker for the 10am movie, stand up straight, make eye contact, and don’t be so damn rude! I get it. You have a crappy job but you don’t have to take it out in everyone else.

It’s ok. Like all theaters, over priced. After reading reviews I realized it wasn’t my stomach that couldn’t handle their popcorn, it’s their popcorn. DON’T EATTHEIRPOPCORN! I thought it was me. But everytime I have gotten popcorn from there I have gotten sick. I even thought 3d movies made me sick… apparently it’s the popcorn. They also had an online deal for«tight wad Tuesday» that the manager wasn’t aware of so they didn’t honor it. Corporate sent us a free ticket. But it had an expiration date on it and no kids movies had come out that month.

Great concept. My hubby and I enjoy going to the movies and this theater is very comfortable. it has those chairs that slightly recline which is great. You get to put your own butter on your popcorn, however they won’t give you another bag so you can put butter all over your popcorn, but it’s no biggy.

Every summer while we vacation here in SC we go to this theater and every summer it is one weird thing after another… No toilet paper in ANY of the stalls, broken AC in two of the theaters, can actually hear rain and thunder outside during an action movie, everyone told to go to a certain theater and when in the theater waiting for a movie to start and 20 minutes after advertised start time a minion comes into the theater and tells the 50 or so parents and small children that they had made an error and to «run» to another theater down the hall to watch the movie instead of just starting the movie in the theater that we were already seated in our seats waiting for!!! The blind leading the blind…

Pretty standard. Nothing to write home about and a little dirty smelling but it is Myrtle Beach so my expectations weren’t super high.

Theatre seats comfortable but OMG the pre movie previews and commercials are LOUD enough to be illegal!!! Sometimes they forget to turn the sound down for the movie. Do they think everyone is deaf??? The other big negative is, as a lifelong popcorn lover, theirs is the absolute worst. They can offer all the refills in the world but for the first time ever I threw my popcorn away.

Truly enjoy coming to this place! Fun for the whole family! Movies, bowling AND arcade games! It’s awesome! Nothing like it on the beach and certainly not on the south end! The bar food is wonderful while you’re bowling too!

Not overly impressed by this place. The only good thing it has going for it is the seats. The bar is ridiculous. Reminds me of a crappy airport bar except this one has annoying strobe lights blinding you from the bowling alley side.

Kudos to Frank for honoring some credit movie passes we had from the previous vacation. We took advantage to see Guardians in 3D, perfect on a rainy night at the beach. I did note that Franks doesn’t let you take beer into the theater anymore, not sure when/why that changed, no biggie. The place was pretty dead but the service was still friendly. The chairs in the theater were practically lazy boys, very comfortable.

Don’t bother getting the rewards card. I have had one since this theater opened and never got a single reward. Its a scam. I have complained numerous times and they always told me to check my email. Nothing. Finally I found somebody who knew about their program and she said that I have to ask everytime to get a reward which she admits expires very quickly. She said to come look for her each time and she will check it for me. Lol. It took me years to even find her in the first place. I frisbeed my card straight in to the trash can, nice shot, what no reward? Come on that was at least 20 feet.

Wonderful place! It wasn’t crowded at all. Good place for groups because you can get two lanes. They have a great menu to order food from and an arcade for after bowling. They said you would have time for 2 games in an hour but you don’t so our game was cut a little short. But other than that a great family place

This place sucks. My boyfriend got hired at the«bar» and they fired him during his training because he apparently had a «heavy hand.» When you go to the bar the bar tenders don’t even know what you’re asking for anyway. It’s so expensive, the first time I tried to order champagne and they wanted to charge me ten bucks a glass. That shit should’ve been some Don Perignon with those prices, but you know it probably wasn’t even as good as a Barefoot Bubbly. The second time I went in there was even worse. There was some girl at the bar who looked fourteen. I wanted a scooby snack but didn’t hold my breath. I asked her if they had Midori on the shelf and she didn’t even know what it was. I decided to make things easier on her and asked for a bay breeze. She had to ask the older lady waiting tables what it was and they both had to look it up in a book they kept at the bar! A bay breeze is one of the first drinks you learn if you go to bar tending school. Then they were both running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to find the damn pinnapple juice. I told her to forget it, I’ll just have the cape cod. Then my boyfriend wanted a shot of whiskey and she didn’t even know what that was. I had to point her to the well and tell her that it was brown. She didn’t even know how much liquor to pour into the glass. Worse than that, the girl happened to be my boyfriend’s old boss, so what does that tell you? When it was time to see our movie(we were late anyway) I wanted to get nachos and that took another ten minutes because the girl behind the counter didn’t know how to put the cheese in the machine. The theater is horrible anyway, you can hear the movie next to you go on in the theater you’re in. Kinda kills the mood when you’re trying to watch something dramatic and you hear some fire-breathing dragon from the Hobbit next to you. Also when they’re short-staffed(which is all the time because the turn-around at that place is horrendous) they make the bar tenders wait tables. The people don’t know what they’re doing and they have to be on headsets because they can barely keep up. I guess it’s okay if you’re a parent and are just letting your kids play in the arcade, but if you’re wanting to get your fade on try heading over to Applebee’s to drink because that rip-off bar is cheaper than Frank’s. I would still go back only because it’s the closest movie theater near us. Even though it has a crappy selection of films. You have to be in the right mood to walk into this place.

Leaps and bounds better than the old theater was. Super clean and it just appears to be a place that respects itself. Bowling: The bowling alley is fantastic. It is not dirty and dingy with some skeevy employees like you imagine bowling alleys to be. The lanes are clean, equipment is clean, and the bowling balls are in great condition. Theater: The theater is fantastic. All be it usually cold it is very clean and the ticket and concession staff are usually knowledgeable about the movies. I do have one gripe, they have lights on the sides of the steps that can be distracting when the lights go out. Arcade: As standard as an arcade is nowadays. Some games, grab games, coin games, shooting games, all the machines are in good condition for now and work as they should. Food: My god the food is the brightest spot of all! We had the nachos with some kind of chicken on them and it was fantastic! I could have ate the entire thing by myself if I wanted to. A great place for families and friends to go and spend a rainy day, well, any day really because it is just a great place to be.

I remember the old theater, and this is an amazing upgrade! I was at the bowling alley last year for my nieces birthday and I thought that the«party planning» staff was unorganized. I had to speak to management about how we were over charged– not a good«first» experience. Last night I went to the theater portion of Frank’s Entertainment. This was a good experience. The theaters are beautiful, the seats are comfortable, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Ticket prices are what you would expect, although it is a little confusing where you purchase them from(you actually buy them at the concession stand). I recommend this theater, highly. However, I am still unsure about the restaurant/bowling portion of this establishment.

Best movie theater I’ve been to. The staff was professional and could not be more courteous. I mentioned this to the Manager, Daryl who happened to be walking by and made sure he knew it was appreciated. Very impressive for a movie theater.

Very nice and clean; like that it’s new. I’m aging myself, but would have loved a pinball machine! Besides that, fun games, and the bowling was fun.

Some friends of ours invited us to go bowling last night. We haven’t been bowling in years but figured that it would be fun to try again and to meet up with friends we don’t see too often. We headed on down to the Inlet Square Mall and met up with everyone around 7pm. The first thing that got me upon walking in was how clean and new everything looked. I’ve been to enough bowling alleys in my lifetime to associate the word with images of dirty and skeevy lanes and employees. The alley in Frank Entertainments is in great condition and the employees are pretty darn friendly. I was a bit confused by the price, since they charge by the hour rather than per game, but it ended up being pretty cheap. The first hour for eight of us was a little over $ 90 and that included two lanes and shoe rental for all of us, so it came out to about $ 11 a person or so after tax. The second hour we stayed they charged us even less and we paid about $ 7 a person. We got in about 3 ¾ games, which isn’t bad for about $ 18 a person. As I already said, everything was nice and clean. The balls, lanes, and even the shoes were in pretty good condition, though the benches in front of the lanes were a bit uncomfortable. The computer scoring thingy was easy to work and never broke down, which is a new experience for me since I’m always used to having to call an employee over to fix a frozen screen or something at other alleys. At around 8:40 the main lights went down and the lasers went up, so we had some free«cosmic bowling» going on. There is also a movie theater and video game arcade attached, but we didn’t do either of those things. I give the bowling alley aspect of Frank Entertainment five stars and it’s a place that I can’t wait to go back to on our next visit.

We decided to check this out since it was raining and couldn’t make it to the beach. This place is new and it shows… which is nice. We had to wait a bit to get a lane to bowl. We played a few video games while waiting… nothing fancy there. We then made our way to the bar and had a couple of beers. Nice bar, attentive bartender, even though he was running back and forth to the lanes filling orders. When our name was called, we got a pitcher of beer and headed to our lane. The lanes are great and played well. The staff was actually running the waxing/buffing machine down the lanes as they came open. The balls were in great shape without the gouges and such that older balls have at older lanes. Pros — great location from our house. Resonable prices for games and beer. Bowling lanes in great condition. A good way to kill a few hours if you can’t be outside. Cons — having to share a seating area/lane area with a family with kids. Kids don’t know about or understand«personal space»…so we’d have kids sitting in our seats or bumping the table with our beer on it. Nothing too bad after half a pitcher though… just keep the languange under check if you are as bad a bowler as my fiancé.
