I don’t think Stacey Silva represented my mother well in the transaction. She did not provide any initial documentation with estimates of all the costs and fees. She did not communicate well and did not provide any status updates if there was activity on the property. There was no open house dates set or scheduled. She did not communicate when she was going to take photos, or give any timeline of when she wanted us to prep the house by and posted some photos that did not show well. When my mom got an offer, she was not familiar with any of the options open to her and Stacey did not share any other options when my mother accepted an offer that was way below asking price. We were advised by several other people after the fact that, she could have accepted the offer with the house as is or without contingencies but Stacey didn’t present any of those possibilities to her. She also presented a lot of emotional Information about the buyer that pursueded my mother to accept the offer. I think she took advantage of my mother’s naivety and situation as she recently lost her spouse. I think the main reason is because she represented both the buyer and seller and would not discount her fees at all. She also complained about having to pay a referral fee and I think it was inappropriate for her to complain to me about paying a referral fee to the realtor who recommended her to us. I did ask her if she could discount the fees a little and she got very hostile. She also didn’t explain to my mother at all that she was representing both sides and that is not the typical scenario. She never took the initiative to walk my mother through what the process would be. I had to inquire each time. Maybe if you have more experience with real estate she might be a good fit for you, but if you don’t have much experience I wouldn’t recommend her because I felt that she is ultimately looking out for her own self interests.

My girlfriend’s parents are retiring and were looking for a home in Valley Springs. The real estate god’s must have been smiling down because we randomly called an agent from a for sale sign and they sent sent us Stacey Silva. We must have had her take us to 35+ properties over the course of the few months that we were looking. She was alway on point, made time for us, and really made us feel comfortable. She stuck with them until they found the home of their dreams. Absolutely amazing. If you are in the market, I would whole heartedly recommend you give Stacey a call. Thank you, Stacey. You ROCK!!!
