I now get a chance to update my review. Went back to the restaurant because they responded kindly to my complaint here on Unilocal. That earns a star for me — acknowledgement & trying goes a long way! But the reason for 2 more stars on top? The food was pretty good and I walked in and instantly had my order taken. They were pleasant and I didn’t have to wait long for the meal. Broccoli was just right and the beef had a nice little kick. The entire experience was much more pleasing. I would suggest giving it a try if you have a taste for Chinese express and are nearby.

On a side note, my husband has been sick as a dog since about seven hours after eating Haapy Family. I did not eat it, because I do not eat seafood. Not sure that was the cause, but sure not worth the risk!

I love their food! I ordered Happy Family and Pad Thai! both are delicious. They added extra ingredients making the food even more delicious. Will be coming back here.

It was my first time. I didn’t expect food quality was so high and the environment was so good as an express. Like Happy Family! So Fresh, taste so good and look so good. Definitely I would recommend it to everyone.

It’s okay. Apparently there’s a delivery fee if you live over 5 miles away, which I have never been told and they claimed it has always been like that. Probably won’t be ordering from here again because of that.

This is your standard Chinese food nothing extraordinary nothing wrong… good vegetables overall good flavor good portion at dinner extremely expensive for this quality of Chinese food. I’d rather stay home and eat China Fang. For $ 15 a head for Asian food I’ll go to Sticky Rice every single day over this place. Sticky Rice is so much better … this is really standard. In fact, I’m not sure this is much different then Panda Express.

Nasty nasty nasty! Walked in for lunch the lady that worked was eating her lunch. No biggie! Until she went to the sink and started to floss her teeth with her nails! Didn’t wash hands with soap! If this is what they do infront of me. I’m soooo scared to see what happens in the kitchen!!! Food inspection!

Really good Chinese option for Murphy. Food is cooked to order unlike Panda Express down the street. The black pepper beef was excellent. Portions are very large. Restaurant is very clean and well organized. Expect to pay around $ 11 per entrée.

Great addition to the Murphy shopping scene! I think they’re adequately priced for the quality(and quantity) of food you receive. I was scared it was going to be one of those food-sitting-out-under-warming-lamps Chinese restaurants but as others have stated, everything’s made fresh, condiments always well-stocked, take-out orders prepared quickly, and restaurant pretty clean. As long as they stay consistent with the food quality, this has made it onto the list of one of our go-to local restaurants for a full, happy family meal.

Went here for lunch. Got fried noodles to share with kiddo. Pretty good, not too shabby. The service was nice. Their setup was a little confusing and semi not-kid-friendly; but very clean. They’re still new, hopefully they’ll keep it up! Will have to come back to try other stuff and will re-review it again.

Food was fantastic, there was enough food to satisfy me, and the bathrooms were clean. But be prepared to spend big. Prices are a little unreasonable. $ 40 for me, my sister and my grandfather… way too much.

It was okay, even if a bit pricier than other local competitors. I won’t avoid it, but it won’t be on my top list either. It is true the portions are huge. So it would also be true that to get value, two people could share one meal. As with many other Asian restaurants, the Happy Family dish is one that shares well. The long-term challenge will be to differentiate and succeed in an area that is overloaded with restaurants.

Huge portion sizes. Food was ok. Tasted like any other Americanized Chinese fast food place. Will eat here again if I’m in a hurry but nothing to write home about.

Menu was a little confusion … no real help from staff. asked if they had almond chicken(cook told her no only cashews or peanuts) prices were a little high . Left and went to Sprouts around the corner to grab something . Dinner time and only a few customers… that should have told me something right there.

I was very impressed. This was by far the best takeout I’ve gotten in the area and as an added bonus it was delivered quickly on a weekend night.

Food is always made fresh to order and is delicious. Egg rolls are made in house as well and definitely worth trying. Large servings which is perfect for family style dining.

Nice to finally have good Chinese take out that is fresh. The dishes are a bit too Americanized for my taste but it’s prepared well. Spring rolls are fried and very good — not oily. Pepper Beef and Sesame Chicken were great. Be prepared to spend $ 11 for each dinner item. Large servings good for family style. Menu is limited. Would to see a dish with black bean sauce and maybe some Chinese BBQ pork.

Wow, best Chinese food in the area! I had seasome chicken that was out of this world! My wife had chicken lo mein, I couldn’t stop eating hers. It’s a few bucks more than some other Chinese in the area, but portions are huge and it’s GOOD! So glad we found this place. We won’t be going anywhere else for Chinese.

Wok Xpress was great. Super clean, friendly staff, and great food and huge portions. Even let our youngest son bring in Whataburger to eat. Had the hot & sour soup and lo mien mix(pork, beef, shrimp). My wife had Mongolian beef and we both liked it a lot.
