I think that Jake Lowry is a skilled river guide. We lucked out to be put on his boat for the day!
What a great fishing fanatic to get paired up with. We fished hard and were rewarded with a fine day and great catching.
I’ve very rarely found someone with the kind of passion for fishing that I share with my fishing pals. Jake went the extra mile. Bait. Re-​drifting over and over again in the most productive zones. He took us to a section that other boats were not going. We worked zones that held fish and were rewarded by having a blast. Mostly we released the fish. But a few we kept.
Nice equipment and rig and all the tackle was his. I was very pleasantly surprised at the good quality fishing reels and rods. Spinning and Fly. He spared no expense on the bait. We took the time to really have fun and fished with a casual attitude that make it extra memorable. That is a Fine day on the river.
Will look him up next time I’m up near Grants Pass to fish again.
