The Wax Strip LLC

I have been to the wax strip twice. First time for eyebrows and the second for eyebrows and brazilian. I was very happy with my experience both times. I have visited the European Wax center and I believe they are over priced and the girl there made my eye brows too thin. I also didn’t see or feel the difference in the wax that was used. I think The Wax Strip gets the job done better in all ways (price, cleanliness, professionalism, and time).
Each time the girl who waxed me was professional, kind and made polite conversation. I will continue to visit The Wax Strip. I have heard nothing but good things about the place even before I went there.

Very clean and quick and non judgemental. Lots of my friends get our eyebrows done here. Very cheap and quick.

The customer service was excellent. The people were all nice and easy to talk to but the waxing job itself was awful. The wax that was used doesn’t do a good job. It took a long time to wax an area that should of been done within 20 minutes. The European Wax Center does a much better job! The hardening wax that the use is much more effective it also acts as a moisturizer. I was much more impressed when I went to the European Wax Center. The facility is cleaner and the people are extremely nice. I had Chelsea at the EWC, she was amazing. She was very easy to talk to and got the job done quickly but most importantly she did it right. The wax strip is decent but I wouldn’t go there again.

Quick and inexpensive! They cleaned up my brows and I got exactly what I was hoping for. Probably the least expensive waxing place I’ve ever seen which is great for someone who likes their eyebrows done every two weeks (:

I was in and out for an eyebrow wax in less than 10 minutes. The girl who did my brows was friendly and talked to me about the city, being that I just moved here and am trying to learn the area.
I think I paid about $ 10 for a wax. Not bad at all and they looked great afterwards! I’ll be back soon.

OMG! I just got my brows tinted and waxed by Brittany (not sure how she spells her name) and I LOVE them! I had a bad thread job a while ago and have been trying to get normal brows since. She made them look perfect! So happy! I would definitely recommend going here. Great prices too! And all this is coming from a girl who always does threading. I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. I wish I lived here because I would always go here to see Brittany! Thank you wax strip!

It’s all about timing with this place. It is relatively small, so if you go during lunch time or between 5 – 6, you will have to wait for a long time. Just keep that in mind when going. I have only gotten my eyebrows waxed here, and I have always had a good experience. They hire only licenses esthetchians. That being said, if I was planning on totally reshaping my eyebrows, I might go to a high end salon. I come here when I just want them cleaned up.
Prices are VERY reasonable. I believe it is 8 dollars for an eyebrow wax. And if you are a student, you can bring your ID and get 10% off. They are very clean and it is usually quick and not painful. Plus the lotion they put on your eyebrows after they wax them smells wonderful!

I have been to the wax strip many times. I have always had positive experiences here! The staff is always very nice and I am typically in and out in 15 – 20 minutes. Plus, you get 10% off with an MTSU student id!

I have been going to the Wax Strip on Old Fort for three years and I love it. I’m a male and Shayla waxes my eyebrows without making them look too feminine. I am latino so my brows grow fast and all across my face and she shapes them to look normal and even. I love this place and I love the job Shayla does.

I had a horrible experience getting a Brazilian wax at the Wax Strip. Not only did the girl not get all the hairs (and I don’t want to go back for a touchup), but my skin is still irritated and bruised. She did not pull my skin tight while waxing which made the experience even more painful. The Wax Strip is like the Super Cuts of waxing. Do yourself a favor and find a legitimate professional.

By far the best waxing experience I have ever had. I waiting for less than five minutes to be taken back. The girl (Jessica maybe? I couldn’t really see her name because she was wearing a smock or sweater blonde and black hair.) she was very nice. Listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly that! She talked to me about my wedding and hers and before I knew it I was done and it didn’t hurt. I guess by talking to her the whole time and keeping my eyes closed distracted me from the pulling of the strips. She was great and you cant beat the price either. They have package deals like buy 5 get one free but I did not take her up on the offer. I do believe I have found my waxing place! SaaaaWeeeeet!
FYI– They do ALL waxing, literally from head to toe!

Great prices and fast, friendly service. I’ve only got my eyebrows done there but the other prices look good too. I never spend more than 15 – 20 minutes in the place, even if I have to wait to be seen. If I don’t have to wait, sometimes I get in and out in 10 minutes. I love it!
The atmosphere of the shop is really cute too. It is clean, fun, and feels comfortable. Not at all snobby. It’s casual, which I like. If you’re looking for a high end spa, I guess this wouldn’t be the place. But if you’re a busy person who wants to get a great deal and be treated good, this is the place to go.
I’ve had several different girls wax my brows. Some are chatty, some aren’t. I’m ok with either. I’ve never been treated badly and no one has ever been rude. That’s really what matters I think.

Now that The Wax Strip is the only place I go to to get waxing services (as you can see from my check-​ins), I’ve really enjoyed visiting there. The staff is friendlier and is welcoming every time I’m there. The prices are still great and the service time is super fast, which is always a plus when you’re having something as unplesant as waxing done. The Wax Strip upgraded from three stars to five stars.

The Wax Strip on Rutherford is so much better.
Last time I left the one of Old Fort, I left with crooked eye brows.

Im the kind of person who wants to be in and out I am NOT looking for that all day spa experience I have a job, school, church life everything under the sun that needs my full attention and I LOVE the layout of this place walk in sign your name go to the room get eyebrows shaped. Pay a good low price since I was in there 2 minutes i dont want to spend 20 bucks show MTSU id get discount pay (credit card accepted) walk out total time spent 5 minutes! GREAT my eyebrows have a natural shape so i didnt have them shape im strictly a clean up kinda girl not sure how they do on shaping after my first experience I will go back, I actually went to see Jessica who i heard was the BEST but she wasnt there so im excited to come back and see her work since im pretty happy with the service i received today eyebrow waxing $ 8 after MTSU discount $ 7.20 (if you get the pricer waxes the discount would serve the purpose better

There’s another Wax Strip location on 2943 S. Rutherford, Ste B, which I been once. Since I live near Old Fort Parkway, I decided to go to this one to get my eyebrows down. I’ve been growing them out so I can reshape them.
Well, I didn’t have to wait long to be called, but the girl who waxed my eyebrows for me was so rude and hard on my eyebrows. Yes, she asked if had any kind of skin problems, but other than that, she did not bother to make any kind of conversation.
I told her, as I was laying down, that I been growing my eyebrows out. Her immediate response was, «you wanted to reshape them?» I answered «Yes». And that was the kind of that conversation. She went on to applying wax on my eyebrows, harshly. After she pulled the stripped off, she started to tweezer away the stray hairs, harshly.
After about a minute, she was done. She showed me how they looked. To be honest, I could of done what she did. That was the reason why I grew them out in the first place. I wanted to reshape them because I been doing my eyebrows myself.
I felt like she was in way too much of a hurry to get me out of there, when there was no one waiting.
I will not go back to this place again!
