Tangerine

Way over priced and my hair came out horrible. The cut wasn’t close to what I showed her and asked for and the high lights were pretty awful, uneven, different colors (processing was clearly off). Definitely not worth all the money they charge.

I came in for an up do before my husband’s company Christmas party and it was awful. The girl seemed to have no clue or confidence in what she was doing. I finally asked her to please stop. I left the salon with crunchy curly hair that I went home and washed out. I ended up just flat ironing my hair for the party :(For a salon that charges what they do, I expected more. My husband didn’t like how they cut his hair either, forgot about that!

I paid 270 dollars for my color. That would be fine if the stylist would have done what I wanted. I told her in the chair that I wanted to see more high lights. She told me that she didnt have time today. I was nice and paid the 270. I even tipped her 20 for her effort. I called the next day to see if she could drop a few more high lights in and they wanted me to pay full price for something I made apparent while I was in her chair. I tried to talk to the owner but he was too busy. The manager actually called back saying they would talk to the stylist and call me back. No phone call. I have never experienced such poor professional high end salon treatment. Didnt want my money back. Just wanted what I asked for to begin with.

Didn’t really listen to what I asked for in regard to color and style. They also said «that style won’t work with your hair texture» and just left it at that instead of offering up alternative styles that might be similar. I also felt like they were not as friendly as some of the other salons I’ve been to in Chattanooga and Nashville. I paid a total of $ 120 for a simple cut style and color and I feel like this is an appropriate price for a high end salon in Atlanta. I definitely feel like I did not get what I paid for.

I ADORE Tangerine! I had read reviews on this website prior to going, and was aware that it would be expensive, but it’s very worth it! I had hot tea, and my stylist was super cool. My hair also turned out fabulous, which was the goal :)

My husband got me a gift certificate for Tangerine for mothers day. I was concerned about how much he spent, because I know it was not cheap, but it was worth it!
The services you receive are definitely worth the cost. I got a spa pedicure and a cut and color. The person who did my hair was very professional, as well as personable. Which is important. No one wants to sit in a chair silently for 2 hours. I can say the same for the person who did my pedi. The customer service is outstanding!
My color is also amazing, exactly what I wanted. I am awful at explaining how I want my hair, so serious kudos are due. My hair looks amazing and I feel great, all thanks to Tangerine!
Even with the prices being as high as they are, I would recommend this to all my friends!

Plus, unlike so many, she takes the time to make sure you know exactly how to do your hair when you get home. Lastly, Aveda rocks. It is more expensive but your hair is so much healthier. BIG CITY STYLING in Murfreesboro! This privately owned trendy Aveda Lifestyle salon is out of this world for Murfreesboro. Tangerine received the Salon Today 200 award for being in the top 200 fastest growing salons in the nation according to their website! It is confirmed by what I have experienced!
I had my hair cut here twice, once by one of the owners who was great, and last time by Seohee Lee who is just AMAZING. She will be my new stylist for a long time to come. She comes from a well known high end salon in a much bigger city, and so has great cred. I have never had such a dynamic styling and it really felt like being cut by a stylist in Las Angeles or New York.
All of the stylists here though seem very cool, and trendy. I am sure they all do a good job as this salon has a very high standard of excellence. It is an Aveda Lifestyle salon, which is Aveda’s highest rating.
If your looking for a new stylist or new cut then get over to Tangerine! Tell them Darrell sent you (well they don’t know me that well yet, lol)
