Roadrunner’s Pizza & Deli

Try the delicious Cheese, Bacon, Ranch fries! They are amazing! The Cusabi Sauce (cucumber, ranch, & horseradish combined) is addicting!
The Philly Cheesesteak was dank!

We live not too far from Road Runners and have their pizza on a semi regular basis at home. It is one of my favorite pizza places in the area — it’s really good pizza.
One of these days I’ll try one of their other items (they have sandwiches, burgers, fries, and more that others have told me are good as well) but the pizza is fantastic!

Roadrunner’s Pizza & Deli, open since February 2014, is located in the Dollar General Plaza north of the York VA Medical Center. Roadrunner’s offers a variety of pizza, sandwiches, and burgers. My dining partner and I had lunch at Roadrunner’s today. A blackboard hanging from the ceiling advertised a «daily lunch special, 11:00 — 4:00» of a single topping personal pizza. I ordered the special with pepperoni. The proprietor said this was supposed to be a Monday through Friday special (today is Saturday) and that «someone is going to get written-​up for that» because it was supposed to have been changed. After that awkward moment, she gave me the advertised price. My pizza was very good, and my partner’s cheeseburger (made from a frozen patty) was also very good. The fries served with her burger were crispy and flavorful. The dining room was warmer than we would have liked, and the box fan didn’t help. Décor is odd, with a military motif on one wall, motivational messages on the opposite wall, a music theme in the hallway to the restroom, and lions and tigers in the unisex restroom, which was quite clean. Roadrunner’s offers free delivery, and we hope they have plenty of delivery business because walk-​in traffic seems light. We would recommend Roadrunner’s if people in your party have a taste for pizza while others crave a burger.
