Description

Specialties

Our business is to provide photography services, but our mission is to tell your story. Whether it’s for your wedding, a graduation, acting auditions or to preserve a point in time for your family.

We aspire to preserve memories and evoke emotion with each image. Crafting photographic art which catches the eye and touches the heart is our goal. As a photographer is it corny to say my focus is always on my client? Perhaps so, but any photographer who does not focus on their client is unlikely to capture the character of the subject or the flavor of the moment.

As part of our client focus, we spend time getting to know you before we pull out the camera. We’ll ask a few small talk questions, like favorite color. And we also want to learn what environments appeal to you (urban vs. rural); do you prefer formal vs. casual attire; do you have a favorite era or decade; etc. Knowing your objectives and what appeals to you enables us to channel our creativity in a more specific direction.

History

Established in 2014.

Photography has been a long time passion and I enjoy pursuing that passion even further when it benefits and is appreciated by others.

Meet the Business Owner

Ken E.

Business Owner

I grew up in a rural area and was among 60 kids in the high school class of 1975. I attended college at the University of Illinois on an AFROTC scholarship, obtaining a BS in Aero/Astro Engineering. The dorm had more people than the entire population of my home town; talk about culture shock.

I served almost 5 years in the Air Force, utilizing my degree to conduct and manage wind tunnel tests. Like many, around my mid to late twenties I made a career change shifting into IT. Along the way I’ve done some writing, managing, consulting, teaching, coding, public speaking, etc. — but not necessarily in that order. And through it all my interest in photography grew into a passion.

3 of my 4 children are adults. Viktoriya, my wife of 15 years, and I enjoy raising our daughter Samantha. We adopted Sam from Moscow in 2009 when she was little more than 1 year old. Samantha is in first grade, is in her third year of dance, enjoys swimming at the Y and shops far to often with mom.
