Fat Willie’s has been my favorite place to play cheap pool in Murfreesboro for many years. Yes, it’s more of a dive bar and some of the patrons can be a little suspect, but we can play pool for about $ 10 per hour and drink as much Yuengling and Sam Adams on the cheap as we want. In my opinion, you have as much fun as the company you keep, so a few hours of fun this inexpensive can’t be beat.
Know Before You Go:
Bring money for the jukebox. $ 1.00 gets you three songs from their new digital jukebox. Nice.
They allow smoking, so just be prepared for that smell to penetrate your clothing and sometimes skin. Yuck.
I wouldn’t recommend ordering any of the beers on tap. They keep them stored near where they cook and the fluctuating temperatures tend to skunk the brew. Order bottled beer.
They recently changed the felt on the tables!
These ‘Know Before You Go’s’ may seem negative, but like I stated before — good — cheap — fun. You pay for what you get.
