Great southern food. Had the fried hamburger steak and forgot to take a picture of it before I demolished it — or tried to — the portions are huge and prices are great. Great service as well. Fried corn fritters were great as well.

Came in with a party of 8 on Sunday before Labor Day. Was crowded, but we were able to sit after a 20+ minute wait. I had the chicken fried chicken with a side of mash potatoes and gravy and steamed veggies, and a fried peach pie. Waitress was very friendly, and the food was yummy. Lots of classical looking signs for sale, too :). Some tips after reading reviews… 1) if the spot is not crowded, seat yourself; if it’s crowded, they will take your name and put you on the wait list. 2) bathrooms available outdoors as well as indoors by the entrance.

Friendly, delicious and fast what more could you ask for? My friends and I stopped in after a day digging for diamonds and it was the perfect meal after a long day. The service was fast and friendly. The food was exactly what you’d hope for from a southern restaurant. The chicken fried chicken is amazing and you get two sides. If you’re passing through, don’t over look this place!

I was very happy about this place. It was cute with a lot of charm. The menu had a lot of options and the staff was very friendly. I had the chicken fried chicken and the corn nuggets. Mmmmmm mmmmm. I did not leave full but with a big belly and had to loosen a belt rung. Go here! The one thing to know is that the bathrooms are outside.

Great place! First off it’s open later on Sunday’s than most other restaurants around here. We spent the day at Crater and we were so glad to find a place still open. We tried the fried green tomatoes; they were tangy and awesome. The Monterey chicken was epic! I tried okra for the first time and loved it! My husband got the chicken fried chicken with corn nuggets and mashed potatoes. He loved everything! We were stuffed at this point, but how could we resist fried pie? So we tried the coconut. It was amazing! Great place! Great food! Great service! Everyone was super friendly and nice.

This hits the spot after a long day out in the sun. They don’t have the best food in the world, but they are so friendly and kind. The atmosphere is very welcoming also!

Stopped here for breakfast when the restaurant we were actually headed for was closed. Absolutely fantastic breakfast. So good, we came back for dinner. And now there’s even talk of coming here again tomorrow morning. Home town feel. Friendly. Excellent food. Exactly what we were hoping for on this vacation. I would definitely come here again.

Full of friendly staff. The southern hospitality is very apparent. Breakfast is delicious, everyone enjoyed everything about the food. Comfortable seating, good table. Clean restaurant. The gravy came out warm instead of hot and was fixed in less than a minute. Bathrooms were pristine. Pancakes are absolutely amazing. My family and I are definitely coming back every time we are in Arkansas. Just all around great food and people. Close to the Diamond Crater State Park which is awesome. I definitely recommend eating here.

I waited at least 10 minutes and no one even acknowledged me. If there is some sort of secret sign to show that you want food, I must not know it. I gave up and went to Los Agaves, where I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door.

Local. Slow. Yummy food. Waited at the front for ten minutes. No one came. A local came in and said to go in and wait by a dirty table. After ordering coffee three times, 20 minutes later, coffee came. Waitress brought wrong food order. When our food finally came, it was GREAT. EXPECTTOSPENDANHOURMINIMUMHERETOEATBREAKFAST. waitresses also handle money, bus tables, serve coffee. No germaphobes.

Went to em’s for dinner, seated yourself. Two waitress waited on us. Neither one of them had a very good personality. Both were pushy about taking order. When food was brought out, was pretty much just put on table wherever, no communication whatsoever from waitress. Food was bland, fish fried to hard. Got ticket, they do not total your order up, they do it at cashier. Cashier was all three waitresses that were working. Girl checked me out and couldn’t read our order, had to tell her what we had. I asked about totaling order up on ticket and she looked at me dumbfounded and said prices are on menu, dugh. Would never go to this place again. Come on owner you can’t be this behind time
