Love this place. I have only placed to go orders and have never eaten inside. I usually get the street tacos. The steak is seasoned a little light but I still love them because they are so fresh. All the ingredient taste fresh. I am not a fan of refried beans but there’s are great.

There are better Mexican restaurants in the Murfreesboro area… Our food was just average. The whole restaurant smelled of cleaner or detergent. The waiter shattered a glass right next to our table and some of our meal was watching them clean up the glass right next to us. That kind of took my appetite away and no one even seemed like it was that big of a deal.

I gave this place 2 stars cause the food was pretty good. But the service was horrible. We had a group of five put our order in pretty quick but couldn’t ever get a beer refilled had to ask 2 or 3 times. When they did bring our food out they dropped my wife’s tortillas on the floor. And didn’t even bring us new ones. We asked twice still never got any. They were slammed but there’s no excuse. Service was pretty bad.

BLECK! Menu says combination plates can be made vegetarian… Don’t believe it! Chile relleno supposed to be subbed w cheese had meat – vegetable taco was soaked in grease, – beans, salsa, chips all bland. Good thing we had a BOGO coupon. Would hate to have paid full price for that foul mess! Even the margarita was blah! My companion said at least the iced tea was good. La Siesta – you have nothing to worry about!

The last time I was at this place it was called Garcias, which was awesome. So I happened to be on that side of town and decided to go there but now it’s called Cinco d mayo. Salsa had good flavor but very watery, the service was slow and the food wasn’t very good. Will probably never go there again

As a purveyor of all things Mexican cuisine related, I have visited dozens of Mexican food establishments all over Tennessee. With all this experience comes a realization of when food is cooked and seasoned properly, care is taken in the quality of ingredients used, and the folks preparing meals seem to enjoy their craft. My wife and I absolutely LOVE the Cinco de Mayo locations closer to our home, as this brand has seemed to grow in the middle TN area with now 7 locations! We have been to 4 of them, and their food is consistent, their flavors are wonderful, and the quality of food is always paramount.(And yes, their margaritas are excellent!) We recently were in the Boro and decided to go a little out of our way to patron this, their newest location. We were pleasantly surprised by the consistency and quality of food found here, similar to the other locations we’ve visited. If I could pick only 1 – 2 things that I don’t necessarily always care for: 1. At times — especially busy times — the service can be a bit slow and/or give you feeling that they don’t particularly care as much about their level of service as they do the quality of their food. 2. Drink specials… Oh my, here we go: I have a legitimate issue with the concept of drink specials on particular days altogether. My wife and I LOVE to go and get a pitcher of margs to split between us and enjoy the atmosphere. Sometimes we’d love to do this mid-week, but we absolutely refuse to pay $ 20 for a pitcher when you can get it for $ 9.99 on Saturdays. Sun-Tues, pitchers are $ 10.99. Still acceptable. However, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, the price skyrockets to $ 20. Individual, single margs are $ 5! No thank you. However, I will say that this is not a Cinco de Mayo only issue. This is the same with most ANY Mexican establishment you may visit. Friendly tip: become familiar with your closest/most favorite Mexican restaurant’s weekly drink specials. Don’t overpay if you don’t have to! Ultimately: Cinco de Mayo(any location) is where to head if you want great food and good drinks! I’d recommend any location after having visited most of them several times.

Have eaten here twice. We always order Togo. Everybody is always friendly but getting our food takes about 30 minutes.(We most order tacos and nachos). Both times I have eaten here I have ended up sick. Everybody else in the house is fine. I am allergic to MSG, and thinking that is the issue. I do not have this issue in any other Mexican Restaurant. The food is okay, have had much better at better prices.

So far the best Mexican food I’ve found in town! Service is always great and quick. The queso is a must when ordering an appetizer. Homemade salsa is a good one as well. Can’t go wrong here, I think.

Much better this time than the last, food was hot and fresh, waiter was friendly… the only downside is that the service is slow… but the price is good.

Best enchiladas I’ve ever had! So yummy! However the tamales left something to be desired.

The new management here is great. We had the fajitas and number C1. The food was excellent and the service was too. If you are driving down interstate 24 and looking for a place to stop to eat this is worth the 2 mile drive from the interstate.

Hubby and I stopped in last weekend for a quick lunch. The salsa is awesome, the server was friendly, and the pollo encremada is the bomb!

This is a great Mexican restaurant. The food is always perfectly cooked. The flavor of the grilled chicken and steak is excellent and tastes great in the tacos, quesadillas and nachos. The margaritas are the best in town!

It is a traditional tex-mex restaurant, but the service, price and food were perfectly acceptable. The tamales were tasty with a nice hot sauce on top and the chorizo tasted fresh. Is it the best in the world? Nope! But I’ve had much much worse.

Pretty empty for a Friday night. That should have tipped us off. Service was terrible, food was barely OK. I asked if I could substitute a chile relleno for an enchilada on one of the combo plates and I was told it would cost extra. I said that would be fine but I couldn’t believe I was being charged fof the substitution. We gave our waitress a coupon we had been e-mailed and they wouldn’t honor it because we hadn’t ordered beverages. I check the coupon and they were right. I was told I could use it next time and I said there wouldn’t be a next time.

Run of the mill Mexican place. The service was poor. It took quite a while in between so-so chips to get the meal, 45mins+ on a Monday. Was not packed. The salsa was great! Spicy«habanero» that didn’t taste like habanero, but was fresh and good nevertheless. There’s a way better restaurant closer to town. The other negative? Price! A bit high for mediocre food. If you like bland Mexican, this place might be for you.

Very disappointing. Service was as poor as I have seen. Will not be back. More flavor in a off brand frozen dinner and it was the featured combination plate. Several diners left before ordering due to no attention after receiving menus. Really confused in that they had a lot of people in server shirts. They just sort of disappeared for a while. Our server spent most of his time visiting with the bartender.

The fresh chip and salsa was good but the entrée itself taste like anyother tex-mex restaurant. It was my first visit to this restaurant and they just open probably less than 2 months ago so their staff still trying to figure out how to run the table efficiently. The waitress that we had didn’t care for us that much… she didnt even let us finish telling her want we need before she run off to the next table. Our water wasn’t filled and we have to keep on waving her down just to get some napkins. But again it was my first time there and it was during busy time… we will give it another try.
