Muffler fell off my car on a Saturday afternoon. Called Car-​X at 3:00 and was told to bring it in. I was informed the could weld it for $ 35, and when I asked was glad to hear a complete replacement was only $ 85. Got me in and out in under an hour. Great service, good staff.

DISHONEST. Took my car in for an oil change at Car-​X, and they told me I needed a new suspension. They gave me a quote for around $ 1200. Luckily, I decided to take it to Christian Brothers automotive, and it ended up only being around $ 400. Only one suspension rod needed to be replaced… CarX said all 3 rods needed to be replaced. Glad I went with my gut and went elsewhere to someone honest. Glad I dodged that rip-​off!
Also, I had previously called Car-​X asking about a repair on another car of mine. They said they would call back that afternoon. I called back 3 times over the course of 2 weeks and they never got back to me. They must not be hurting for business. I even told them I had 4 used cars in my family, and would love to give them business. I will not be going back.

Well, the jerk at CarX in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, tried to kill me. In an effort to make me drop money for new parts (that were already new), he loosened both my serpentine belt and my timing belt during an oil change. My car almost died on the interstate. At night.

Recently moved to the area and I had originally scheduled an oil change for my Honda at the dealership which was going to cost $ 40. We stopped to have lunch on the way and saw Car X sign for oil changes $ 19.99. We stopped in there and that was the price… no gimmicks or small print. Received the car back and recommendations were made for future visits but there was no pressure or pushy sales whatsoever. Second trip we brought for another oil change, tire rotation, and alignment. Received a coupon discount and the final cost was fantastic (lots of mailer coupons in ads). Again, recommendations were made as well as discounts for our next visit. I am so glad we stopped in here. Prices are affordable, service is excellent, and I completely trust the guys in the shop with my car. Have had absolutely no issues whatsoever!

I had a great experience at car X this morning, great service, great pricing and speedy service. I would recommend this business to anyone. Kenny Graham was excellent!

If I could give negative stars I would… Brought my husbands truck here to get a couple of things fixed on it. The steering wheel column was loose, the heaters didnt work, and the brake light didnt work. They had to get a use column because his truck is an older model. So 800 bucks later we pick up the truck. 2 weeks later my husband is driving down the road and his keys fall on the floorboard. UMMM WHAT THE %$#@??? He gets them when he parks and puts them in the ignition and turns it off. Out of curiosity he takes the keys out and tries to start the truck, well IT STARTED!!! YIKES! So we take the truck up there and the Manager (rude, smart a%$, jerk) asked why we waited 2 weeks to bring it back? Um because who tries to start a truck without the keys? We had no idea it started without the keys until the keys fell out of the ignition when going down the road 2 weeks after getting it from the shop. He proceeds to tell us he would charge us to have the ignition replaced. Um, no you wont! He said that because it was a used part they put on the truck (that they purchased) they dont guarantee it. Really? I could understand if it was a part that we purchased and brought to the to put on but that was not the case. Needless to say we told him that is very bad service and we wanted corporates number. We didnt even make it home before the manager called my husband saying he would fix it out of his own pocket and to bring the truck back. Nope, I will NEVER let them work on another vehicle of mine out of pocket or not!
Not to mention the tail light wasnt fixed (valvoline in smyrna fixed that), the heater is stuck on, yes hot air blows out of the vents (lightly) non stop, 80 degree days suck because the air doesnt work. I will NEVER step foot in that place again and I will never refer anyone to them either.
