I think October R. is a bit harsh in her criticism of this place. Sure the parking is tight, the place is smoky, it’s dark, the bar has names carved all over it, the beer selection is all domestic and it’s not in the most pristine condition. But hey, it’s a neighborhood bar and it doesn’t try to be anything more. The drinks are cheap, the service is quick and courteous, there’s a dart board and slot machines in the back and it’s not in a dangerous neighborhood. Yeah it’s a dive, but it’s a safe, cheap and comfortable dive.
