History

Established in 1982.

1967– Dr. Oren Olinger joins Dr. Morton Roth’s practice

1968– Dr. John Ashman joins Dr. Earl Morris’ practice

1970– Dr. Morris retires

1971– Dr. Wilson joins Dr. Roth and Dr. Olinger

1982– Dr. Ashman and Drs. Olinger, Roth, and Wilson combine practices into Family Vision Care

1990– Dr. Roth retires. Dr. Karon (Klem) Nowakowski joins Family Vision Care.

1999– Dr. Wynde Ashman joins Family Vision Care

May 2013– Dr. J.D. Greenlee joins Family Vision Care as an associate of Dr. John Ashman

July 2013– Dr. Elizabeth Eastes joins FVC as an associate of Dr. Nowakowski

October 2013– Dr. Jeremy Gard purchases Dr. Olinger’s portion of Family Vision Care

October 2014– Dr. J.D. Greenlee purchases Dr. John Ashman’s portion of Family Vision Care

Business Owner

Dr. Jeremy Gard is a native of Mooreland, IN. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2007 and Doctor of Optometry degree in 2011 at Indiana University. Dr. Gard gained valuable experience through numerous externships, including three month rotations at Ireland Army Hospital in Fort Knox, KY and American Health Network Eye Specialists in Muncie, IN. He was an associate of Dr. Timothy Kenkel in Cincinnati, OH for two years, and subsequently purchased Dr. Oren Olinger’s practice in 2013. Dr. Gard is a therapeutically licensed optometrist in the state of Indiana. Dr. Gard manages the Yelp Business page for Family Vision Care.
