Ordered Stromboli and a Greek salad. Waited about 15 min. The Stromboli was good. Sorry, long day. Out here

The pizza here is usually good, but last night I called in an order for 2 large pizza’s. When I got them home and started to eat they were burnt on the bottom, BLACK. They also forgot items on the pizza and extra blue cheese I paid for. My party was disappointed and it was a 45 minute drive back to Shepherd Rd. This is the second time we have had burned pizza’s from this location. Please check your pizza before you leave their shop!!!

The thin pizza was worth it, although the cheese was falling off the pie. We tried the garlic rolls full of butter and the garlic bread sticks and both were only warm and were either drenched in butter or had no taste at all. They were at both extremes. The owner seems like a cool guy though.

Gluten-Free sign in the window advertising Gluten Free pizza crusts and pastas. Get to the counter and ask if there is a separate menu for these items and was met with a very disinterested young lady who informed me that they only have Gluten Free pizza and its small. Ok then. So I ask if they prepare these pizza separate from the normal pizzas, to this I got a «No we don’t». Ok, so no business for you. If your going to advertise Gluten Free then you need to do Gluten Free. This can’t possibly be done if your going to take this expensive pre-made gluten free crust and plop it on top of a table covered in flour. I am very disappointed in this place especially after everyone recommend it based on the Gluten Free offerings. If your not willing to do it correctly, don’t do it at all. Being unable to eat normal food sucks bad enough with out the utter let down when someone half asses an attempt at marketing a product at me. I get that offering Gluten Free is expensive but I for one don’t mind paying for it if it’s correctly. Antico charges $ 20 for the same pizza and I pay it. Mostly because Gluten Free food sucks and when you can get something that resembles real food I’m all over it. «Do or do not, there is no try» –Yoda

the food quality and quantity has steadily decreased but the pizza is still a fairly good bargain. We bought the zita with sauce for $ 7.95 and that’s all it was… ziti and sauce, no meat, no side salad… you could make this dish for like .50 cents. the lasanga was a small portion(use to be much larger) and was store-bought quality in taste and this small serving was like $ 8.75.

Pizza is very good by polk county standards. But it ends there. Their meals are very sub-standard. You can tell they sell frozen items. Meatballs are tasteless and tough and super small. $ 4 for five tiny meatballs in a sauce that tastes as its from a can. Barely any sauce in spaghetti. But spaghetti was well Boiled. What a rip off and disappointment. I’ve had chicken Parm, lasagna, baked ziti, and Alfredo. Same for all dishes. And the Alfredo is very obviously a canned sauce! Greasy, pasty, salty and repulsive. For these prices cooked food should be fresh and much better quality. I have seen them make the cannolis. The shells come in a box. The cannoli cream comes in prepackaged food service bags. None of it is fresh. All the friendly service in the world could not make up for the bad food.

Average… Service — Below average. Called and asked if they could put cheese on garlic bread(was on the menus my wife found online), but they said they couldn’t. Wasn’t a busy night that they couldn’t have. Quality — Below average. Definitely a New York style pizza but sauce was runny and bland. Garlic knots were chewy, garlic heavy(as advertised) but not amazing. Cost — Average. Against big brands(Dominos, Little Caesars, Hungry Howie’s) it was over priced. For a small business it was ok, the gap you have by not being able to provide the price of the big brands you fill with quality and service… I didn’t see it.

Excellent food and staff! After being in an urban city for so long you get to taste all kinds of different pizzas and even food in general. I can say this place is a gem! I was greeted by the owner himself! The food was nothing short of awesome, itself! I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a good, quick, Italian hole-in-the-wall.

Just passing through the area and found Palace Pizza on Unilocal.Had a quick and very good lunch — pizza and garlic knots. Authentic NY style pizza and friendly people behind the counter. Would eat here often if I lived nearby.

Best pizza in Polk county hands down. Clean, fast, and the friendliest staff in town. I wish Unilocal had more stars. Love this place!

Great pizza and only 20 minute wait. No delivery, but it’s just down the road from us. Very happy to have an authentic pizza place so close! We’ll be back for sure!

Wow! Delicious NY style pizza! I’m a New Yorker and have had some amazing pizza! This taste just like NY pizza! I wish the place was a little bigger though. The inside dinning area is very small and with just a few families dinning in can make it feel very crowded! But they do have a couple of other locations in the area. I think this location is my favorite though!

Only ever had take out, but this is the best pizza I’ve had in Florida. All the other pizza places made me homesick for NJ, this one made me feel like I was back home. Great food, fast, and friendly service.

LOVE Palace Pizza!!! This location is relatively new, they have been rapidly expanding because their food is so good, and I’m glad they came here because this is 5 minutes from house. I echo the other reviewers. great food, try the white pizza, but if you don’t I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

The real Italian pizza deal! Awards on the wall for their family owned business. Small place with limited seating but worth it. NY style, all fresh ingredients. Calzone, Stromboli,…all hand made by Italians.
