You found your dream home. Do you know what you are really buying? I’m a Certified Master Home Inspector so I’ll be happy to take you through the home in detail.

Follow me around your dream home for a home inspection and I will point out defects major or minor (if any) you will need to address before closing on the property. More importantly, I will give you great maintenance tips on how to keep your home safe, healthy, and secure. I will also give you an idea of the lifespan of each of the major household systems (furnace, air conditioning unit, hot water heater, etc.) and how long before they will need replacing.

As we view the property, I will fill out a detailed home inspection checklist of what is serviceable and what may need attention. At the end of my evaluation of the property we will go over the computer-​generated complete report in detail to make sure you understand everything before I leave the site.

I would recommend Bob to anyone that is buying a home. Check his website for a sample report; it is phenomenally easy to read. He took his time to explain everything and to answer all of our questions.

This is an email reply from Bob after I told him I thought he did a poor job on our home inspection.
«Wow, I must say that is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. I’ve been through over 7000 homes and pride myself on being thorough. I must say I’ve never had a complaint even close to this. I’m sorry if I seemed rushed but I had a lot of house to go through. I get in the zone and even though it distracts me and my thinking I was always there to answer questions. I may have acted like I was blowing of some of your concerns but if it was an issue I would have reported on it. No mater what I said it wasn’t the answer you were looking for. Not sure what you were looking for. Maybe you were looking for something other than a home inspection. I keep moving (observe and report) because I know everybody’s time is precious. Anybody that spends 3 – 4 hours doing a home inspection is either inexperienced or incompetent. I follow standards to a T and would put my report against anyone out there doing home inspections. My job is to look for any structural and safety hazards. Also find things that would influence your decision to purchase the property. NOT to pick apart the home and call out any cosmetic items as a defect. I should have passed on the job when you were dwelling on the sod as a major defect. I actually thought you were kidding at first. You were more than welcome to follow me around and ask questions. But most of the time I was talking to myself and you were somewhere checking door knobs. I challenge you to take a look at the state standards (which is attached) and find one thing that I did not adhere to. Then and only then will I consider refunding my fee. I’m sorry you were dissatisfied with the job that I did but I look at it like this. I get one complaint out of 7000 like this one, I don’t think I am the one with the problem.»
