This store feels like home… or maybe like your best friend’s garage — full of all sorts of used stuff that you want to take with you. Joe is super friendly and willing to help you find just what you need. Great selection of outdoor winter clothes, gloves, hats, scarves, etc. Tons of ski boots to choose from. Selection of skis, poles, and helmets were more limited, but ’tis the season. So glad I live close. Even if I didn’t it would definitely be worth a drive.

I made the drive to this Mukilteo store last weekend to get some ski gear for the winter. I’m a beginner and didn’t know too well what I was doing when I went in there. The owner spent a lot of time with me making sure I got boots, clothes, goggles and poles that fit. I could tell he wasn’t just doing the customer service routine, but actually cared about getting me the right gear.
There is a very large selection of gear for a second-​hand store, and it was all very reasonably priced. I was able to walk out with everything but the skis (which I already had from a friend) and still have money for lift tickets! There is also a resident springer spaniel that really adds a comfortable and relaxed touch to the store.
All in all it was well worth the drive.
