Established in 1996.

We started this business as a mobile on-​site ultrasonic blind cleaning service and repairs. This experience makes us uniquely qualified to help you find exactly the best window treatments you need. We know what products are best suited to certain areas of your home or business, like bathrooms or kitchens, where plantation shutters and faux wood blinds work great. Hunter Douglas Luminettes or room dividers like Gliding Panels are great for patio or deck doors as well.

If you have small children or pets, getting cordless or automated Honeycomb/​Cellular or Solar shades will eliminate any risk of accidental strangulation.

Business Owner

Tony owned a pastry shop in Split, Croatia that had been in his family since 1921. When European communism was on the verge of collapse in the late 1980’s, he decided to move to America in search of a better life and new opportunities. While staying with relatives in Wisconsin, he met me, Lisa, his future wife and business partner. It wasn’t long before we began a happy and successful life together.

Our shared sense of adventure brought us to Washington state in 1995. After spending a year exploring the incredible natural beauty of this state, it was time to get to work. So, we started Pure Tech from scratch and have provided quality window coverings to customers in Washington, Wisconsin, Alaska, Arizona, and Maine.

Many of our customers have asked us how we are able to work so well together and still be happily married. The secret, besides having good communication, is to discover and respect each person’s individual talents. It works in both business and marriage!
