We just completed our mortgage refinance with Bellwether Lending and could not be happier with their help. Kirk and Dave are extremely knowledgeable and walked us through all of the options available to us. Kirk even taught me about how interest rate forecasting works and never tried to dictate the direction that was best for us. Kirk Kelley and his team at Bellwether Lending in Mukilteo did a fantastic job of securing our VA mortgage refinance. He promptly replied to my initial inquiry and then continued to go above and beyond to answer my many questions. He listened to our goals for the refi and offered us choices to meet those goals. The application process was completed online and we were able to scan and email the necessary documents. Since we actually live fairly close to Bellwether lending, my husband and I were also able to visit their office to ask questions and sign papers.
Kirk did a great job of balancing our desire for the lowest interest rates possible against our naturally conservative nature. He shared a jobs report analysis and discussed what he considers when trying to decide if rates will continue to decline or begin to rise. His analysis was correct and by waiting, we got a better lender’s credit at the interest rate we desired. In the end, the lender’s credit covered the costs normally associated with a refi (settlement, title and recording fees), so we actually netted $ 336.
Kirk’s team was great to work with as well. Whenever we weren’t working directly with Kirk, Dave and Konnie were both very helpful and knowledgeable. They had great attention to detail which helped to ensure the closing process proceeded smoothly. The entire team was extremely patient and answered every question we asked.

Kirk is a highly knowledgeable and honest broker. We worked with Dave and Kirk for few months in the preparation to finance our new house in Redmond, WA. Dave was an excellent advisor to us on all of the investment and loan information we needed. Kirk Kelly was amazing to work with. This was our 4^th home purchase, and things went great, for the first time ever! If you want something more than the impersonal interaction and automated phone tree runaround that you often get when dealing with the «big box store» caliber banks, then give Bellwether Lending a call. I also recommend their sister company Right Fit Real Estate for your purchase and/​or sale. They know how to negotiate and will save you lots of money! They treat your money like it’s their money. I’ve been burned several times by real estate agents that I’ve perceived to be greedy, lazy, do the minimum to get by, overlook the details, always have a higher priority, or just don’t care.
