History

Established in 2013.

Dr. Elvin Fenton, who had worked in Texarkana in 1996 for Texas State Optical, was given the opportunity to buy out Texas State Optical. Since then, he has steadily grown his business with our superior customer service. We strive to make every patient happy, every single time. Now with our superior optical, we can display thousands of high quality frames from classic to contemporary, bargain to designer, we have eye glasses for every personality.

Dr. Elvin Wendell Fenton is an Oklahoma native, raised in the panhandle on a large farm that has been in his family since the Oklahoma land run. He did his undergraduate work at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK, and was accepted early into the optometry program at the Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, OK, where he received his Doctoral degree in Optometry. He interviewed and was licensed in multiple states and decided on Texarkana where he has now been in private practice for 16 years. Dr. Fenton started Texarkana Eye Associates in 1997 and has been practicing six days a week ever since.

Dr. Fenton is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist who specializes as a primary care optometrist. He has experience in glaucoma management, LASIK and cataract post-​operative management, diabetic eye disease examinations, and many of your primary eye care needs.
