Glenn, Syleria and MacLaine operate a wonderful family owned and run salon conveniently located in mount pleasant. Glenn always gives my husband consistently great haircuts. Syleria is a genius with color and MacLaine is a godsend for my 13 year old stepdaughter who won’t let anyone less-​hip than MacLaine touch her locks. The salon is open, airy and tidy. You can also stock up on cool pieces of costume jewelry for impromptu gifts when you’re there!

A wonderful salon, and the best atmosphere I’ve experienced in the Charleston area. Booking my appointment was easy and fast. I showed up early and was seen right away. Maclane listened to what I wanted and asked questions about length, style, the type of hair I have and what I wanted to achieve. I have curly hair and needed help finding a cut that would work with my round face. She suggested a 5″ cut and explained that it would ease the weight on my hair and give it texture and bounce. She was so professional and so caring about her clients’ needs.
I am so pleased with the service I received and I will definitely be making further appointments here!

Glenn is hands down the best stylist I have used. Very professional and caring. You will not be disappointed! I feel completely at ease now that I have a go to stylist when I am here in Charleston. This is by no means a paid for review like many other salons use. He earned every bit of the five stars I gave him. Thanks again Glen for the beautiful color and style. I had a wonderful time!

I can’t sing enough praises about Glenn and his salon. I was in town for a wedding, and due to my hectic schedule, was unable to touch up my roots before arriving in SC. I’m naturally a dark brunette, but have since gone quite blonde. Like everyone who has ever colored their hair knows, you don’t just trust anyone with that, especially root lifter (there’s a very high probability of it turning orange). I was nervous about it, but I had to risk it… I mean, it was a wedding! Boy, am I glad I did. He did such a good job, that my current stylist at home keeps asking me what root lifter he used (she assumed it was color)! My hair looked fabulous at the wedding, and I owe it to Bayside. Makes me want to come back just to visit Glenn! Thank you so much!

McLean is awesome colorist. She uses the newest techniques and high quality products. She spent a lot of time with me at my first appointment to find out what I wanted and needed. Today I went back for a second visit, and I am more happy this time than last. I recommended a friend to the salon and she had a very good experience too.
