Ralphs Tree Service

One word… unreliable.
Ralph gave me an estimate and he set an appointment to do the work, and now he won’t keep the appointment because of «a big job». Before the appointment was made, he actually requested that I be patient with him and for me to wait for him to do the job and now he’s not honoring his commitment. He didn’t even have the courtesy to call me to tell me, I had to call him to find out. Not a good way to do business. Two days wasted waiting for him to tell me he’s too busy.
Not Cool.

I used Ralph’s Tree service for my Mothers house in Mount Holly. We needed an immense tree removed because it was dropping leaves on the house clogging the gutters. It was also a danger to nearby homes because of its immense size. Ralph’s came in and cut the tree down in sections and cut some of the wood for firewood. At this point in time I was happy with Ralph’s. About 2 months later I contacted Ralph to get a quote to remove the wood from the back of my Mother’s house. I originally thought I would cut all the wood for firewood. Circumstances quickly changed, my Mother needed to go into assisted care living after continually falling so I contacted Ralph to remove the wood because the family needed to sell the home. He quoted me a $ 200 price. I agreed and we set a date. On the day, I arrived at my Mothers and waited. I finally had to call him because it was getting late and I had to leave. He said he would be there later. I had to leave so I told him I would leave his check in the mailbox. After about 3 or 4 weeks, I went back to my Mothers (I do not live close) and saw that Ralph did not remove the wood although he cashed the check. Eventually Ralph did remove the wood. Raised his star rating to 3.

If you need trees taken down, you need to call Ralph!
I called Ralph’s Tree Service to remove several trees that I’ve been wanting to take down for years. Ralph himself answered my call and came out for an estimate that day. We agreed on a fair price without any haggling. The very next morning Ralph and his team were at my house to start the job. They were fast, thorough and neat. They arranged the wood piles where I requested AND mulched part of my yard with the smaller branches for FREE.
Ralph is eager to grow his small business, and it shows! All in all, a pleasure to work with. I will call again.
