Giving 3 stars because I like the Greek food here but nothing else, I’ve tried hamburgers and fries from here and they were just gross, but I’m doing a review about breakfast, my husband and I ordered to go I went in and picked up it was ready by the time I got there, when I got home they did mess up one of our orders but it was my husbands and he will eat anything so no biggie. We got 2 omelets, mine was the village(sour cream, mushroom, Swiss cheese) so gross there had to be a tub of sour cream on it, it basically was all sour cream. Will not return for breakfast, but will return for dinner but only for there Greek food(dolma is delicious)

I’ve seen this restaurant grow and improve the past 10 years, with consistent, quality food and now beer and wine(yay!). The burgers are amazing, quantities are ample, the employees friendly. A great neighborhood staple. And they are fast!

Boyfriend ordered take out after work last night and this place is pretty amazing. There were a couple of minor things that stopped me from giving it a 5⁄5 but I would still come back once a week or so and get a gyro! We ordered a falafel gyro with an order of Greek fries, lamb steaks that came with Greek salad/pita/fries, and an order of giant beans in tomato and dill sauce. The portions were huge! The lamb steak came with two portions of meat but my boyfriend mentioned that there was a good bit inedible fat. He said that the steaks were good, cooked well, but not amazing. 7⁄10. He liked his fries but the Greek salad had chunks of bell pepper that were just a bit too large for his/our liking. My falafel was delicious, not too heavily seasoned or too dense. Crunchy on the outside and perfectly cooked inside. The only problem was that there were raw white onion in the gyro and I just don’t like raw white onion. I’m used to the raw red onion and tomato you would normally get in a gyro but the combination of red and white was too much. Also, I found the tzatziki to be a little thin for my liking. Not bad, just not as good as I’d hoped. The Greek fries had SOMUCHFETA. It was mostly shredded on top but there were a couple of fat chunks. I’m not mad, I love feta, but it was a bit much. See pictures for reference. The pita was amazing fried pieces of heaven. The giant white beans though… They seemed like something that came out of a can. Not bad, just not impressive at all. Not much seasoning. The food really was good overall, just a few things here and there that I didn’t care for. Like I said, I’ll definitely come back! I just know not to get the beans and to ask for only red onion. my boyfriend said that the customer service was great!

I thoroughly enjoyed this place! I stumbled on this little gem while randomly Unilocal searching places. After reading some of my friends reviews I decided to bookmark it! Oddly enough the next day I was in the area so I decided come here for a late night bite! The parking lot as many have said is very small and has an odd layout, I still managed to find a good spot so no complaints there. The restaurant has a diner feel with the layout. You seat yourself and they’ll bring you the menus! Looking over the menu it looked like they had some awesome Greek classics as well as many different burgers. I was tempted to get the lamb gyro but I heard they had amazing burgers so I chose time out burger. Looks like they have a small beer selection for anyone interested as well. The wait wasn’t too long and our server was really friendly! He joked with us about my buddies delorean shirt and lord of the rings. Our food was great! My buddy ordered a normal cheese burger with Greek fries and as stated earlier I had the packed time out burger. Let me just say that I love the fries! Awesome size, good crunch and the flavor was great. They add a lot of cheese to the feta fries! My burger was really juicy due to the onions and mushrooms but I was expecting that and wasn’t afraid to dig in and get my hands dirty! All in all a solid experience and I was very happy with the price I paid. If this was a burger only joint they’d be getting 5 stars. But I want to try more of the menu before I bump it up.

Great food, decent amount of food for the price and amazing customer service. They were busy for lunch but they were still so helpful. DEFINITELY will be back again!

I am beyond disappointed. My husband and I ate here last night and we both had the chicken gyros and side Greek salad, the same order we’ve had multiple times but over the past year the quality of food has degraded considerably. The chicken in my gyro was completely inedible. I don’t know how they did it, but the texture was similar to leather! I have never tasted chicken that was impossible to chew before! So I essentially had a tomato, onion and French fry gyro. And also there were only 4 – 5 fries in my tomato and onion gyro so that was also disappointing. We won’t be returning sadly.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. My girl and I each had an order of Traditional Gyro’s with a side of fries. Not to take money away from the business but good lord, you don’t need to order the side of fries because the gyro itself is beyond generous in size! They stuff some in the very thick, delicious pita along with tender, succulent strips of seasoned meat. The tzatziki sauce is very unique and stands out from the other countless versions I’ve had in the past. There’s a slight lemony zing to it once every few bites. There are so many flavors happening within each bite of the gyro that eating one feels akin to a small journey. Along with the freshest tomatoes I’ve ever encountered in a gyro, I couldn’t stop myself from devouring the entire thing. The fries are wonderful as well. Very old school diner style with some sort of seasoning that separates them from your standard fried potato fare. Not only is the food delicious and quickly prepared, there was no after dinner regret or sickness that you would experience from a fast food place. The food was rich without feeling greasy. We ordered take-out but will be sure to stop in and eat on location sometime. The atmosphere is very charming without any hint of pretentiousness. The small wall of wine is very appropriate and they serve beer as well for your non-oenophiles like myself. Top that off with a very friendly cashier named Demitri and we’ll be sure to be back for seconds.

Awesome food! The wait staff was very friendly and attentive and the stereo-typically Greek cook was entertaining. I’ll definitely be back

My friend and I came after helping her with her apartment nearby to scope out dining options near her. Has a local diner feel and the wait staff were very friendly and quick. The food was all right and that’s where this place lost a couple stars for me. I ordered the combo plate and my friend had the Greek salad with falafel added. The portions were good, but the taste was pretty generic. I’ve definitely had much better Mediterranean food. We had the baklava and agreed that it was very good. After inquiring if it was made in house, the response was«no.» Don’t see myself coming back here for lunch/dinner but maybe baklava to go.

My first impression as we drove up wasn’t good. I used to work in restaurants for years(trying to forget that, but that’s another story) and I immediately noticed a health code violation in that the outside door to the kitchen was propped open, big no-no! Parking is a hassle here too, small, cramped lot that’s hard to maneuver in. Since I was driving my truck, we parked in the street. It’s roomier inside than I thought, and the atmosphere was ok. We were greeted immediately and enthusiastically by the hostess. Breakfast was good, the food came quickly and was served hot, but the portions were HUGE. I noticed nearly all of the breakfast entrees on the menu are served with 3 eggs. I had the Greek omelet which was almost the size of my forearm and only ate half of the plate, there was plenty to take home. My wife had pancakes the size of hubcaps, she couldn’t finish them. Another down was the unisex bathroom was dirty. Cobwebs and fingermarks on the light switch. Breakfast for two with coffee came to $ 24.60 with tax, which I think is about average, but even better if you factor in the large portions. Three pieces of advise for them: Close that kitchen door, down-size the portions(and prices with it), clean the bathroom up. Will we be back? Maybe. We have our favorite restaurant that’s cleaner with better parking, we just wanted to check this one out.

Decent food, but pricey. I got take out and it was pretty good, but I was taken aback by the prices. I got the Greek Sampler and it was alright, the chicken was very dry and I even choked on it a little bit at one point. The fries were great and the salad was very tasty, if a bit heavy on the onion. The gyro meat was great. We also split a calamari app and it was honestly some of the best calamari I’ve ever had and there was a lot of it. But, in the end, it was so expensive that I doubt I will go back unless it is a special occasion. Also, I will not be going to the restaurant for the meal, as it was definitely not in a shape on par with their prices. The furniture was very cheap and simple and the whole place smelled like rancid bleach water.

i got the roast lamb gyro — good size but not the best gyro i’ve had. the tzatziki sauce was aplenty though. i LOVE lamb(favorite!) but this lamb didn’t stand out to me. they threw in a few fries in there too — not really sure why since it didn’t add much to the gyro and was kinda soggy. feta fries were decent but i wish the fries were just a tad crispier/sturdier so it complements the creamy feta well! service was great! nice place to grab a quick bite if you’re in the area!

Love that there’s a diner on the northside that isn’t a chain restaurant!(Although, nothing wrong with those if you’re in the mood) I love their gyros and how they tuck a few French fries in them. This review is really about how much I enjoy their traditional gyro. The fries as an order themselves seemed a little soggy and underseasoned. The pork kebabs are good, but the chicken kebabs were a little bland. Burgers are pretty good and they’re freshly made! Good tzatziki sauce! Fairly quick and easy when ordering take out. Parking can be a bit of a pain if it’s busy. Friendly staff. They seem family-run, which is awesome! Would love to try their breakfasts sometime.

Family run, friendly bunch. We’ve eaten there about five times now, and the food was decent most times. Some meals were definitely better than others. All made me feel quite heavy afterward. I had an omelette last time and the ham was like cut up deli slices, and the cheese was melted individual slices on top of the omelette, maybe Kraft or Velveta. Wasn’t too impressed. Also not too impressed with the cheese or flavor of the Greek Fries. Burgers I’ve had there were pretty good though. Would also like to see beer on tap there. Large selection of wines, and they do have several bottled beers, but a few on tap would really be nice. One other thing that bugs me– I have seen the people who run the place sitting inside smoking when I’ve driven by the front window in the evening, and it has smelled a little like a lot of restaurants/bars that you used to be able to smoke in here do when I’ve entered to order food. Not sure how often they smoke in there at night, but it is illegal here now and the slight lingering odor during business hours in unpleasant.

The people were extremely helpful placing a large order over the phone, they were super nice despite us being really late in picking up the food, and they even helped bring the food out to our car. Oh, and the food was delish too.

I was surprised that for being a Greek restaurant and having so many stars that their chicken gyro was pretty unpleasant. Until you put a lot of salt, pepper, and more sauce on it the taste is not too good. The chicken is like the pre cooked fajita strips you can buy at the store. This is not gyro meat. I was really disappointed. They have a large menu of some pretty typical American foods which look like they might be good. Unless I want breakfast I don’t think I will go back.

This place is so down home and the service was awesome. The food was delish and great for a Sunday run before errands. Huge servings.

This is solid Greek food. The best gyro you’ll ever eat? Maybe, but I think I’ve had better. I’m spoiled because I’ve eaten a gluttonous amount of Aladdin’s over the years so I have very high standards for gyros. Sufficiently delicious, friendly atmosphere, and worth multiple visits? You betcha. The family who runs this place is fantastic and I like that their menu ranges from traditional Greek items to a Reuben sandwich or a bacon cheeseburger. For the first visit, I opted to go with traditional Greek fare. The gyro I ordered consisted of the standard lamb and beef Kronos meat that you find in most gyros. The onions and tomatoes were fresh but not overwhelming, and the tzatziki sauce was dripping out the back. Perhaps a bit too much if you don’t like tzatziki sauce, but I’m fairly certain that you aren’t looking at a Greek restaurant’s Unilocal page if you don’t like tzatziki sauce. The fries on top were a nice touch. The onion rings were very good too. Crispy and flavorful, the beer battering hits the spot. I was debating whether to get the Greek fries with feta cheese or the onion rings and I’m glad I chose the latter. Although next time I will probably try the fries, just so I definitively know which one to get on my third visit and beyond. Probably my favorite part of my visit to Time Out was how friendly everyone who works here was. It was my first time in and everyone was very genuine and treated me as if I were a regular. The food didn’t take too long to prepare and I was able to talk about the Mariner’s game with one of the staff. I think he was the son of the owners. Overall, a fantastic gyro joint that I’m glad is located so close to my house. I’ll be back soon.

Seattle is my hometown, and whenever I come back to visit, Time Out is a must visit spot. Not only to taste the delicious food, but to visit with the owners who make you feel like part of their Greek family– complete with Mom, Dad and brothers. This place is always hopping busy and easily overflows their tiny parking lot. If you call in advance they will reserve tables and can accommodate large groups easily as the tables and chairs are easily moved around. Which is nice as I always bring my family here to meet for lunch when I come for a visit. I was pleasantly surprised this last time to see their beautiful completed expansion. The update makes the space feel warmer, cozier, and spacious. You have room now to stretch your legs a bit. I don’t often come here for dinner, and this last time I did. I tried the Paidakia which are small lamb chops served with Greek Salad and fries. The lamb is moist and full of juicy flavor. The next best part are the fries. they are a must when coming here. They are some of my favorite fries of all time. They do also have a small selection of Greek wines. I tried the red, and it was quite good with the lamb. Conveniently located right next to the Cinebarre movie theater. When I lived in town I never did get a chance to try the Cinebarre food because I couldn’t ever pass up a meal at Time Out.
