History

Established in 1983.

Pat Valentine Ziv, ASID is a NJ certified Interior Designer and a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers. Pat has worked in Architectural and Interior Design firms, as a designer for an Office Dealership as well as in a Corporate Facilities Department.

Her firm was established in 1983 on Long Island, New York, where it specialized in residential renovations as well as education and commercial interiors. This has led to a niche specialty in Bathrooms and Home Offices. The company moved to Northern New Jersey in 1990.

Efficiency, safety and a comfortable traffic flow have guided her way in space planning and design. This naturally leads to elegance and simplicity which are her motivators in esthetics be it traditional or contemporary in style.

PVZ Design, LLC takes a project from concept to completion. Projects have ranged from a powder room to corporate offices of 120 employees.

Meet the Business Owner

Pat Valentine Z.

Business Owner

Born in Paris, raised on Long Island and educated as an Architect in Israel, I have a varied cultural past. Returning to the US in 1979, I worked in an Architectural office, a Corporate Facilities Department and an Office Dealership before starting my company in 1983 to allow for school visits and key family time. Partnering with a small construction company, I increased their sales immediately and our bathrooms became well known in the area.

Zivi Furniture designs came about when I could not find specific products for my design projects. Custom furniture solves whatever issues I encounter enhancing the project with beautiful products that function as needed.

On the commercial end, after designing an accountant;s office, I was invited to one of his medical practice clients to solve their space issues and traffic flow. This medical practice begat another and I am proud to be quite proficient in this field of design — my practices range from central NJ to NYC to Westchester, N
