My experience with Dr. Larson’s office was amazing, everyone there made me feel like I was a part of the family! Not only did I look forward to all my appointments, he also completely fixed my smile.

Dr. Larson is an excellent orthodontist! I just recently got my braces off, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my results. I refer all my friends and family over to his office. His staff is great as well, no complaints what so ever, very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Larson for any orthodontic treatment. Trust me you’ll love the entire experience!

My three children have been Dr. Larson’s patient for couple of years now. He is an excellent doctor and always have a smile on his face. He is always been caring, thoughtful, and always put my children at ease during their regular visits. I have been very satisfied on all the treatment that he did, and still doing for my kids, and would highly recommend him.
I also give the staff a five star because of all the friendliness and the kindness they show to their patients.

I had a very positive experience with Dr Larson and his entire staff — Nicole, Wilma, Myla. All the way from the first meeting till treatment completion months later. Dr. Larson really listened to my situation (a bit complicated) and worked with me closely over months on a reasonable plan for bite adjustment and nightguard.
He is very patient, meticulate and has great bedside manners. I am so glad I went to him. His staff not only accommodated my schedule, also went above and beyond to make sure the billing goes smoothly. All of it with a smile. I always felt comfortable and welcome, never rushed, given sufficient time. Two thumbs up!

Doctor Larson and his sub par orthodontic work has had lasting repercussions on my mouth for over 8 years now. From 2003 to 2005 I had the standard two year braces plan with Larson. Two years after getting my braces off (I got them off in 8^th grade) my dentist noticed that my bite was completely off. I had been mentioning that my jaw was popping constantly and was very uncomfortable and sore. I was then sent back to Larson so that he could fix my bite, that he had initially messed up (my upper and lowers were hitting each other, instead of having a slight overbite so the front teeth do not hit). Not only did he protest to fixing my bite for free (as it was his fault in the first pace), he treated me very poorly throughout my second round of treatment. It is now 4 years later (all the while wearing all of my retainers every night as instructed) and I have a recession on my front tooth. At first my dentist thought it was my doing, but I then met with a periodontist who explained that my orthodontist (Larson) had not set my teeth properly. Instead of moving all of my teeth in line (the roots to the tips) he simply tipped my lower front tooth back so it would appear to be in line with the others. What this causes is the root of that tooth to be significantly farther forward than the others, thus causing a strain on my gumline for that particular tooth, thus the recession that I am now dealing with. I will now have to get braces on for the third time in my life. I will not repeat the past again. I am frustrated and saddened that I have to go through this again, all because Larson was inattentive and poor at his craft.

Dr. Larson is GREAT! He is friendly, specific and has good sense of humor. My teeth look great! My treatment went well and I’m very happy with the result. The office is up to date, the staff are very sweet and friendly especially Myla — she is very knowledgable, professional and helpful.

BEWARE!!!
Do not believe the hype on the reviews. I did and I have been regretting it for several years now. Not only does his staff not do whatever they can to get you in if something breaks, which it always does??? But if you need to reschedule your appointment they want to put you out another 3 – 4 weeks? That is NOT ok!!!
He is currently working on my daughter which is very obvious that he does not care about her at all. I don’t care what he thinks of me but my daughter should matter. Her teeth look horrible (they are leaning inside her mouth instead of coming straight down) which is now causing a lisp that she never had before. Keep in mind she has been in treatment since the summer of 2011, its now the summer of 2013. She should be done!
Another thing that happened here which needs to be told because I want people to be warned, I do not want anyone to have to go through what I did with this man. I am an adult and wanted to get my teeth looked at and possibly straightened if able. Figured it was worth a shot looking into since I have insurance that would cover it. He advises that I get a retainer and promises he can move the few teeth around that needed to. After 4 months of treatment, nothing was really happening so I scheduled a meeting to talk to him about it since now they wanted to charge me $ 68 every time I came in for an adjustment. I only had 4 of them and nothing was working, why would I have to start paying till things were moved appropriately? So we meet and he looks at my teeth and basically tells me there is nothing he can do and seemed upset saying it and said he would give me my money back and stormed out of the room?! He didn’t have to do all that, he could have just finished the treatment or at least a couple more adjustments. There was no need to just drop the ball on me. Now I have a retainer that I have to wear every night because if I don’t my teeth will move since we already started treating them and loosening them up and moving them around. Its a nightmare!!! Needless to say I don’t even want to deal with him because he is a short tempered man. Please also note that he doesn’t do any work on his patients — he has his assistants do it. Probably why things are always breaking and falling off my daughters braces for the last 3 years! Every single month!
Also PLEASE read your contract, they will be sneaky and make you believe things are a certain way which they are not. Time will come and they will all of a sudden start charging you for things, even an extra year of treatment! :-O

BEWARE!!!

I had braces from 1995 – 1999. My bottom braces were on for 4 years and my top were on for 3 years. Yes, my teeth were straight after the first year having braces, although my treatment was to have them on longer. (Im sure for good reasons)
It has been almost 15 years since my braces came off… my smile is as amazing as it was in 1999 when the braces came off!
I do have a built in bottom retainer, which is still awesome to this day!
I was given a retainer for my top teeth that looks like the invisiline, but I swapped it for an old school metal one. I found the metal one easier to keep in my mouth. I wore my top retainer off and on for 6 months, and then I just went on with life without it.
My teeth haven’t moved. I get compliments on my smile all the time.
Dentists are astonished and compliment me too! I couldn’t be happier with my results. My before and after pic was up on the wall in the lobby for a while too! Maybe there is room for a 15 year later pic? ;)

I was a walk in patient when I tried Dr. Larson’s clinic. Upon entering I was greeted by friendly and warm staff. Ms. Myla, the office manager made me feel like I am an old patient, she was very accommodating and very friendly. The office ambience is child friendly, well lighted and the equipments are up to date. Then I met Dr. Larson, who was very cheerful and professional. He explained to me the treatment plan, how long it would take. Dr. Larson listened to my questions and needs, making sure that we agreed on the plan, and making me understand how is it going to be. The price is very reasonable, and they would never leave you hanging even if the your treatment is over. I would definitely invite my family and friends to try and switch with Dr. Larson. And for those reading this, even as a walk-​in I invite you to go check out this place. Dr. Larson and his staff will be there to accommodate you and help you in your dental health needs. :)

Fantastic! Absolutely impressed by the professionalism of the staff and Dr Larson. The facility is a perfect blend for children and adults with modern technology, effective layout of the facility, and good prices. I really enjoyed seeing the large LCD TV with multiple pictures of Dr Larson with patients he helped out. I am a military man, so United Concordia paid for half of my bottom retainer which cost $ 750ish. I received my retainer within a few days and the ladies at the front counter were sweet in the process which was quick. I look forward to working with this office in the future and HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR LARSON and his staff. Goodluck!

Three for Three… Both our children have absolutely beautiful smiles thanks to the wonderful work done by Dr. Larson. I think of him as a teeth strategist — carefully architecting and executing a treatment plan designed to deliver the perfect smile. We had two challenging cases for him and have stellar results. It is clear that he loves what he does and takes a lot of pride in his work. He also has an incredibly gentle touch when working inside your mouth. The team is very customer focused. The office is flexible in working with your financial needs and timing. Dr Larson will also treat adults; I had several years of treatment to make a major adjustment to my bite and straighten my teeth. When I had an issue, I called his cell phone and he came in to treat me even though the office was closed. I could not have made a better decision for myself or the children.

Very happy with his service! His staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. My son had his braces in for two years and his teeth look amazing! I drove a distance to bring my son here. I have many friends who have used & recommended his services. Plus– Affordable with payment plan! :)) Thank you Dr. Larson & crew! :)

Dr. Larson and his staff are awesome, especially Myla and Jose! I couldn’t be happier with my son’s orthodontic experience. Everyone at Dr. Larson’s office is genuinely friendly and pleasant. Also, I was always able to make an appointment when I needed to and I felt like my son was definitely a priority to the doctor and his assistants.
Here are some of my favorite things:
1. The waiting room is warm and cozy, with complimentary bottles of water.
2. We’ve only had to wait 5 minutes tops to see Dr. Larson for an appointment in the past two years.
3. There are flat screens and high tech equipment all over her office.
4. My son won a gift card to Best Buy for being ‘patient of the month’! Great incentive for kids to stick with the program, ie. not eating sticky foods, wearing your head gear/​rubberbands and brushing thoroughly.
Dr. Larson and his staff went above and beyond to make sure my son was physically comfortable as well as satisfied with his treatment. He listened to my feedback and always thoroughly explained what he was doing at each adjustment. And of course, my son’s teeth look great now post-​braces! I have already recommended Dr. Larson to others and I will continue to do so in the future.

I had my invisalign done at Dr Larson’s place 5 years ago. At the time, I felt that Dr Larson wasn’t too strict or too perfectionist about the adjustment. At the end of the treatment (2 years), my teeth wasn’t that great. However, the worst part was that I was not informed about the need to wear my retainer for a long time after the treatment. When my retainer broke, I just tossed it away, thinking that mine was completed. They should call all their patients 2 months after the the end of the treatment, reminding them about the retainer and possibly offering resources to replace old retainers. Anyway, I went back to them a few weeks ago, stating that I did the treatment 5 years ago and I may need additional adjustment. Instead of taking care of their existing patients, the office went ahead and planned to charge me full price ($ 7500) for the entire treatment. They said that if it takes more than 10 sets of liners, I will have to pay for the full price. Eek, I didn’t expect that, after I already spent $ 7000 with them 5 years ago!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Larson for a year now. As an adult getting braces for the second time, I researched on Unilocal,Dr. Oogle and saw two other orthodonitists before going with Dr. Larson, and am very happy I did!
People in this office are awesome… especially Jose. Jose has had braces himself (as an adult!) and is great at empathy. He’s frankly the most considerate and compassionate tech /​orthodontic assistant /​dental /​medical assistant-​type (I’m honestly not sure what his title is.) I’ve ever had — and I’ve had plenty. Jose remembers that the back ends of my wires tend to poke me, so he makes a point every time to bend them in without me reminding him. He researches the color of rubberbands so food stains would be the least noticeable. (Smoky pearl, fyi). He anticipates your pain and warns you in advance to eat now, and to take Tylenol. He’s approachable, the one with time for your questions. I like Dr. Larson too — he’s very good at explaining things — but Jose is the guy you will see the most of.
I had braces previously, in my pre-​teen years. Back then, we drove 45 minutes out of the way, to go with some guy on my mom’s dental plan. I don’t remember liking him at all. My parents English isn’t that great — so they don’t really ask any questions, and I was taught to go more with the flow back then too. Comparing Dr. Larson to my pre-​teenage braces experience, honestly makes me wonder if I got some quack back then. It’s scary how the quacks are still out there — the one orthodontist on my insurance plan really did not try understand my predicament, and was just trying to push braces on me. He didn’t even try to answer my questions, and just brushed them off. I went off insurance and paid out of pocket for Dr. Larson, and am glad I did.

The best in Northern California. Dr. Larson explains everything to you and works beautifully with our son. He is honest and humble. His staff are as good as he is :)
Very happy with everything this team does! Gives you many options and very clear about costs. Choose him before you go anywhere else I am so grateful for Noah’s Orthodontist ~ he broke his braces one day while at school and instead of waiting for the next appointment, they repaired them quickly and at the last moment !

I checked out 4 other orthodontic doctors before I sign contracts with them for me and my 2 kids.
Others asked us for similar or more price.
Others don’t have patients when we got there.
Others don’t have more than 1 – 2 staff.
They are known in my area. I suggested my friend to check them out. They were looking for an orthodontist since a few weeks, and even check out some in San Francisco or San Jose. She went there with her kids, and she sign the contracts too, because like I said, there is a positive difference you can tell and feel when you compare them with the others.
I trust Dr. Larson and his whole crew. They are very polite, gentle, clean, and honest! Check them out. You won’t regret it.

Dr. Larson is the best. We currently go to him for both my son’s (11) and my (45) braces and we couldn’t be happier. Very thorough, gentle, and effective. The staff is great too, especially Jose, Myla, and Norma.
