One work… WOW! We had the balloon guy and he was amazing!!! HIGHLY recommend this company for your event!!! Very talented at balloon making from a monkey hugging a tree, Viking Helmet, Swords, Jet pack, A MINION… YES MINION which was soo freaking cool!

Best balloon guys in the Bay Area! Everyone at our party enjoyed it — both kids and adults! They arrived on time and were even willing to stay for an extra 30 minutes since there was still a long line to get a balloon made. I’d highly recommend them at your event whether company event or kids birthday party!

I can’t rave ENOUGH about their services. I hired them a few years ago for airbrush tattoos at my son’s birthday in Montclair park and was too lazy to right a well deserving 5-​star review. So here I am now, 2 years later writing a review for my other son’s birthday party at Ohgane in Oakland where Gideon and his team KILLED it. Everyone left in awe of his balloon twisting skills. He made things we didn’t even know were possible. He’s a genius and all of the parents at the party asked for their info. Worth every penny and will hire them again.

They literally can create anything you (or kids) can think of! Amazing service and pretty much the hit of every party we have them at!

I must say Sideshow Events was awesome in both talent and speed. Daniel was our guy for the community event we had and his balloon designs were just awe-​mazing! The photos I posted were just the tip of the iceberg as they only snapshot just a few of his creations that inspired me to stop people to take a picture. He was fast which was great because the lines didn’t build up. He was also very personable, which makes for a bonus when it comes to those things because they need to be socially adept! I will definitely keep Sideshow Events as our main when it comes to Balloon Artistry at its finest. They are so well worth the money!

Daniel was amazing beyond words !!! Everyone at my sons party this past Saturday had been impressed by his skills and his kid friendly attitude. I say that bc he did get hit by a few swords and bow in arrows (so I was told) and was totally awesome about it lol. I had tons of ppl asking for the companies contact information, even ppl that didn’t make but seen his creations on our social media networks. It’s seriously got so crazy I just decided to post the contact info on my Instagram /​fb with our pictures.

Our party was at the Garden House in Los Altos. We did the first birthday party package for my sister’s 50^th birthday party. they came early to set up, were very professional, and very accommodating for the over 100 guests.
The balloon artist was fantastic with lots of big elaborate sculptures — a big hit with the kids, especially the bow and arrows! The airbrush artist was very popular with the adults and kids, the variety of designs great. The photo booth was really fun with lots of zany costumes.
Over all, a fabulous job by Daniel and his Sideshow Events.

We hired Sideshow Events to come do some balloon art for our company picnic. Gideon was AMAZING!!! The poor guy was totally bombarded and worked non-​stop because he was the star of the show! Regardless of maybe being overwhelmed with so many kids, he didn’t bat an eye. He was very professional, personable, had a great attitude and made some of the most incredible balloon creations I have ever seen! Parents and kids were all happy. I would definitely recommend them and ask them to come again to our future events! Thank you!

I had spoken to Daniel and he was so cordial to talk to and invited him over my daughter’s first birthday party. He was prompt and he worked with the children very well and made them some very cool balloons. There was one child who wanted a scuba diving gear and he was able to make it for him. It looked so perfect. The children were completely entertained and it was great fun to watch him make the balloons too! Great experience with them! Thank you and would recommend them to my friends too.

Called a few days before my sons’ joint birthday party and they were able to fit us in their already busy schedule! Actually came a little earlier than expected, but that was fine with me! Thank you guys so much for coming on such short notice!

they are excellent with kids, not a tear in sight, even after your kids pop their swords for the 9^th time, they happily make them another even fancier then their first. They also have alot of choices with the airbrush tattoos. if they dont have what your looking for, you can request freehand mostly adults ask for the freehand option face tats hell yeah!!! tribal on ur face in pink why not, sadly since my skin is a tad darker they had to cover the pink with black it actually look legit the pink kinda meshed with a red tone making the black pop more making it look like a freshly done tattoo, kudos for these guys.
all smiles, easy to talk to, balloon skills beyond excellent, honestly i think the parents may have had more fun then kids ahha I definitely recommend these folks to do any kid party

AMAZING! We threw a superhero party for our seven year-​old and hired Daniel as our balloon artist. He captured the attention of all the children for 1.5 hours and made unbelievable balloon creations. Daniel’s handle on super hero characters was impressive. He was also good at pretty much anything – his fairies and princesses were beautiful. Every child was ecstatic.
We also hired Rene, a cartoon artist, to draw family portraits in superhero outfits as party favors. We looooved the portraits. Some have posted their portraits on Facebook. Most of us will frame the portraits and hang them in our family room. It kicked up the party a notch. As the kids were busy with balloons, the adults watched Rene draw and commented on the details of his drawings and how he captured the likeness of each guest. Our minds were blown. We extended his time twice. It’s a lot of work for Rene to draw all the families so expect him to be at your party for a while. Also, although the attire is a small detail, we appreciated Rene showing up in an artist outfit with a beret and vest. It was a nice touch.

Sideshow events is awesome! Totally made my sons first birthday! The kids where amazed and entertained! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to entertain and liven up their event. They don’t make the typical ballon animals! We got so many compliments from our guests. We loved them!

I booked Elaina for my daughter’s & nephews 5^th Birthday party just this past weekend. It was a last minute booking but it was the BEST party decision I made. She was prompt in replying back and her prices were very reasonable.
Elaina was a HUGE hit, not just with the kids but with the adults as well! She made AMAZING balloon art: from making the birthday girl fairy wings, crown, skirt, and wand to another mind blowing LARGE orange octopus complete with white eyes, black spots body and tentacles. There wasn’t anything Elaina couldn’t make. If a child requested a character she wasn’t familiar with all they had to do was show her a picture on an iPhone and Viola! She has an amazing ability to translate 2-​D images into 3-​D art using balloons and it was all VERY impressive.
Elaina also had a wonderful way with the kids. she’s spunky, patient, and very animated with them. It was an amazing sight to behold how she enraptured 20 kids watching her every move as she created these adorable big and little figures. Her energy fed off the kids and the kids responded to her with wonder and amazement. The kids spent more time gathered around her tin the two hours she was at the party than in the bounce house!
If you ever watch Elaina in action you will notice she pays attention to details — no details are insignificant. She made a Cinderella balloon doll complete with face, hairband, white puff sleeves and GLASS SLIPPERS (clear white balloons). Every little detail is special and unique — and you see the effect on the children’s faces.
Would I book Elaina gain? ABSOLUTELY!

We booked Sideshow Events & Adventure Balloons for my daughter’s 2^nd birthday party. Daniel came and did THE BEST job. I can’t say enough great things about him and his balloons. He was able to make every kid happy within an hour. And, talk about talented! He made fairy princess costumes, a hulk arm and a beautiful Rapunzel for my daughter. Great family run business. We had been to several previous parties where Adventure Balloons provided the balloon artist/​entertainment. Very smooth process — professional from beginning to end. Most importantly of all, the talent and creations can simply not be beat.

Talk about the perfect entertainment for a kids party! Gideon, a highly skilled balloon artist was able to meet every request from each child. One of the little girls requested Rapunzel and I swear when I first saw her carrying it I thought it was a doll! AWESOME!!! From booking the artists to their arrival setup to time with the kids. It was a huge hit. The balloon artist was really great. The kids LOVED LOVED LOVED him. I would gladly hire them again. Showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves and were very pleasant to work with. Would highly recommend.

We booked Adv Balloons for my son’s 6^th birthday party. It was a HIT! Jimmy came out half an hour early. He set up and was ready to make balloons by our arranged time slot. The kids and adults were thrilled at his creations. He was very professional and went about his work with no breaks, for 2 hours straight! What we especially liked was that when the kids ballons would pop, he would either fix them or created a new one with no issues. The tattoo artist was booked for one hour and did an excellent job as well. The tattoos were whimsicle and colorful. The 2 gentlemen were so quite, but busy, that at times I forgot they were even there!
I am hooked on Adventture balloons and highly recommend them! We will definitely keep this a tradition and have them join us for my son’s 7^th birthday!

Recommendation: Provide a picture menu (sample poster) of the different options the kids can ask for. Kids initially asked for simple characters. Unless they have seen the website, they missed out on all the large size unique and wearable balloon designs.

We attended a 5-year-old’s birthday party and the balloon twisting was incredibly sophisticated, detailed, and impressive. The huge spider and the Little Mermaid were my favorite creations.
Even more fun than the outrageous balloons designs may have been the colorful airbrush tattoos. They sprayed on very quickly so there was never a big line. There were over 50 designs to choose from, and my son got four tattoos, including a flaming basketball on his cheek and a sun on his arm. I got a firefly on my arm, which made me look like a real badass.
