Excellent service.
Dr. Afsaneh Mahajerani was explaining things every step of the way.
Best part was selecting glasses. They did not try to rush me into getting something expensive. The glasses seemed reasonably priced compared to few other optometry i have been to.

Came in as a new patient today, and met with Dr. Afsaneh Mahajerani. She was incredible. Very professional, articulate, intelligent, kind, and obviously talented in her field — highly recommend.
Staff was very nice too. Modern, classic selection of frames available.
If you go– the turnoff for the (one-​way) parking lot is easy to accidentally drive past, but you can pull a U-​turn at the intersection a few hundred feet ahead and double back.

I had my vision check here with a doctor last year and had a good feeling about the comprehensive evaluation. This was performed by a eye doctor, who doesn’t practice there anymore
Based on the above experience, I decided to bring in my 6 year old daughter for her first eye visit. This was her first ever eye appointment and it was scheduled with Dr. Jennifer Webb in July, 2015. The exam was satisfactory. I took off 3 stars because Dr Jennifer was persistent in her queries about checking the eye glasses, even before the complete evaluation. During the break, she escorted us to the hall and reminded few times that my daughter had to select a frame as she suspects a need for correction.
When we went back to continue the evaluation after the break, she did few things and then asked about if we have chosen a frame. She asked couple more times while doing the evaluation and offered to put down frame details in the form so we don’t forget. It made me very uncomfortable as I felt her only aim is to make us buy frame on that same day to make some extra profit. And finally, I had to tell her that they had only one frame and come back to check again. She responded saying that the frame choices will not increase later on and asked us to choose one that day itself. Thank god, they were moving that week end and I told her that I was also running late to get back to work and will visit again to check out frames after they relocate to the new location (down shoreline blvd)
Dr Webb does not have sensitivity towards kids, compassion and basic etiquette as a professional. All she cares about is making patients buy frames from them. If you plan to have a vision check-​up for young kids, you better take them elsewhere to have a pleasant overall experience.

I have depended on Dr. Seger’s expertise for over 10 years. He helped me adjust to contacts as well as providing glasses. I feel that his attention to detail and concern for my eyes is exceptional. I never feel that I am rushed during the exam or a fitting for new glasses.
I know that the health of my eyes is the top priority when I am a patient in this office.
The staff is exceptional in taking time to find frames that fit and I like. I have never had a pair of glasses that slipped on my nose or hurt/​pinched and I credit the staff for the good fit.
The staff is also very caring and accommodating when performing the various tests.

I would consider myself a very bad patient. Not only have I read almost all material regarding eye care I consider myself a hypochondriac and an amateur eye care doctor with a degree from Wikipedia. Sessions with me are usually 15 mins of me grilling the doctor about all the new technology and another 15 mins of describing to the doctor all that ails me. After changing contacts twice and just being generally a bad patient I can can unequivocally that this place is great.

Came in as a new patient on a Friday cancellation. I would take off a star for how terribly long I waited but it was a cancellation they worked me in so I completely understand.
Dr Seger was professional, thorough, and gave me the attention I deserved now matter how many others were there. I was super pleased with my experience. Thank you!

I have been seeing Doctor Seger for 15 or 16 years now. He also looked after some family members of mine before that. I think he’s simply the best there is for optometry. The staff have always been great as well. If you live in the area and need vision correction, I would advise you to go here.

Friendly and amazing staff! I overheard that they had relocated from elsewhere… so for those who continue to come here, I can understand why!
This place is located very close to Googleplex (hence «Shoreline») and is not in the same «plaza» as other places. You will have to make an immediate turn in if you don’t want to miss this place!
The ladies here are super fabulous with helping you even after their 5 PM closing time (not encouraging this to happen everyday)! They are patient with picking out your glasses, fixing your minor requests.
This place is professional and well-​kept. Would definitely come here again!

I just had an appt at Shoreline Optometry and was very satisfied with everything. Dr. Nguyen was very friendly, professional, and informative. The staff fully explained my VSP benefits and was helpful. Overall was impressed and I plan to return for my next checkup.

I’ve been going to see Dr Segar for over 7 years now. These folks are simply best in class. Five years ago I started working in San Francisco, and I still head down to Mountain View for my visits to the eye doctor.
Dr Segar’s experience, depth of knowledge (particularly with respect to contact lenses), professionalism, and quality of care keep me coming back. They are super friendly, and consistently exceed my expectations. I actually look forward to going each year.
Their new digs are really nice too!

I have been going to see Dr, Webb and Dr, Segar fir over 15 years. I am happy with the quality of the exam, and patience of the doctors. I even suggested this dr. to my husband. He is happy. We also take our children.

I’ve been going to Shoreline Optometry for almost five years now and have always been treated very well by the staff. They genuinely care and are very helpful, always explaining things well and very transparent. I have a lot of respect for these people and will keep going here for as long as I can.

I’ve been here on three occasions, and all visits have been without disappointment. Everything was explained to me carefully and clearly, and I felt no pressure to make decisions on the spot.
Previously, I used to go to Costco optical. No problems there, but you are on your own. No one takes the time to walk you through it.

Pleasant and clean office, short wait time.
They adjust my frame very patiently to make sure it’s comfortable.

I feel attended to, the office is clean and pleasant, and their schedule seems to be very flexible.
When I called recently about an issue with a contacts order, they followed up promptly and even set aside some trials for me in the interim (which was impressive, given that one eye’s prescription has been called «exotic» by more than one optometrist).

Dr. Webb is amazing. She is attentive, kind, and caring doctor. When Dr. Webb asked about my general health I told her about my ongoing issue, so she asked to see my blood work. That was definitely above and beyond!
Staff was also helpful and pleasant to talk with.
I am happy with my experience and will be coming back for my annual check ups.

Good and friendly service. Also convenient location.

Service: excellent. Entire staff is on the ball, knowledgeable and pleasant.
Technical knowledge: excellent. One of the opticians instantly diagnosed a problem that another office didn’t see after multiple visits. Dr. Webb has been spot on with her advice.
Frame selection: good. Rather conservative selection. That’s why I unfortunately had to buy my frames elsewhere. Next time, if I have to buy frames elsewhere, I’ll buy the frames ONLY. Then get the lenses from the capable staff at Shoreline.

Dr. Webb is the healer of eyes. She’s very attentive and caring. She’s thorough and pretty much will get you what you need. I came in with an eye infection that my old doctor couldn’t help me with. She fixed me right up! Highly recommend anyone looking for an amazing eye doctor.

Great family business! Thorough, professional — all that good stuff. After my first appointment, (based on Unilocal reviews), I was so impressed that I told my new husband he should switch from whomever he was seeing. He said «no thanks,» he was quite happy with his eye doc. Turns out he’d recently start with Dr. Webb as well!
I’ve now gone to her for years, and know to trust her judgment. She’s even managed to finally talk me into not over-​wearing my contacts:) The rest of the staff and office are also efficient and friendly.
