This review is for lip enhancement/​augmentation. I was referred to come here for lip injections by a friend and I am extremely happy with not only the service but whole experience! The staff is super friendly and the receptionist that helped me (being that it was my first time) was very sweet, explained the process in detail, and applied numbing cream for me. After meeting Dr. Shahin, his approach was very professional and he was very gentle during the procedure. Not gonna lie for pain tolerance on a scale of 1 – 10, I was at a 6 – 7 cuz I’m such a chicken. Lol. If you are thinking of getting lip enhancement, this is definitely the place to go to. There are not enough words to describe how amazing The doctor and his staff are. Everyone in the office is truly kind and compassionate and the dr. listened to me and did exactly what I wanted. They even sent me flowers the day of my surgery to congratulate me.

I have been coming here for the last 7 – 8 months for laser hair removal. Without fail, I’ve had my appointments constantly rescheduled, «system issues,» and today the nurse wasn’t even in! I’ve had to wait over 30minutes every single time I’ve come even when I’ve come early or right on time.
In regards to the quality for laser hair, it’s fine, but I’ve never gone anywhere else so who knows.
The receptionists need to seriously get it together because this service is unacceptable. The only reason I’ve even come back is because I had to for my treatments I bought in bulk.
If you want to waste your time — go for it.

²⁴⁄₇ Dr. Fazilat answered my weekends, late night, after office hour questions that I was expecting to get an answer the follow day. I ended up talking to him or texting him directly and get an immediate comforting respond. It was such a relief to know that your doctor is there for you.

I went to Dr. Fazilate’s office to treat my facial melasma and was sold for five fraxel laser treatments. I was told by Dr. Fazilate that the package will erase my dark spots permanently! After a few treatments, I started to feel the whole thing was like a scam! I had one fraxel laser treatment before visiting his office: it usually takes more than 20 min of «zapping», then my face will darken and peel off in the next a few days. Afterwards, the melasma spots will become lighter.
Dr. Fazilate’s treatment, when conducted by his nurse, lasted 10 minutes. There was little impact to the spots for the coming days. When I called to complain, they kept promising it would get better when I complete the 5 treatments. Then he said that it’d take 6 treatments before I’d see any results.
For my last treatment, the nurse spent less than 10 min. I complained to the front desk right after I walked out of the laser room, but the nurse went into hiding. The front desk kept saying they would talk to the doctor and call me back for next step, and they never did! What a scam! It cost me a few thousands dollars for these useless treatments! I hope you won’t repeat my mistakes!

I had the groupon treatment discount and the session was good. All the black heads were gone but I was expecting the steam and there was no steam in the treatment so be aware of it. however I liked the result!

I received a threatening message from the doctor about my review!!! and he has given me deadline!!!
He said: There is no factual basis to your statement regarding laser certifications, you must remove or amend your Unilocal post from 6/23/2015.If you do not comply we will seek legal action. Please remove or amend your post by November 3^rd, 2015.

I called them to make an appointment and I also asked if the laser they are using is FDA approved, after getting transferred 2 times, someone told me yes it is. Then I asked if they have any discount and they told me no. So I made my appointment. 2 weeks before my appointment I got a call and they changed my appointment to a month later. I was like ok! the one month came and the night before my appointment someone called and said we dont have any staff tomorrow and I need to cancel your appointment. I asked to reschedule, they told me they call later. No one called. I called again and wanted to reschedule and they told me they cant reschedule me now and they call later. I was like why cant you reschedule now!!! and again no one called!
What do you feel about this situation? something should be wrong right? Did they lie about not having FDA approval, thats why they didnt wanted me to go?! or they dont like the customers who ask for discount which would be so rude!
Anyways, I have never got such as rude and bad service before and I dont even bother to go there again. There are tons of better places!

This review is LONG overdue! I started coming here a couple of years ago (via a Groupon) for laser hair removal. My husband started coming here as well for laser. I am a laser hair removal addict at this point and I’m still coming to get treatments for different areas! It’s been extremely effective and I absolutely love it. Best decision I ever made.
While I was going there for laser I decided to consult him for some other work. I was going to see my previous surgeon but decided that I wanted to see someone new because i liked the work that I’d seen that he’d done and he’s extremely personable. I also liked his recommendation on how he’d do the procedures so I was sold. I got my first and second procedure done year before last and I am SO happy with them! I had my third one done with him last year and that’s been fantastic as well. I get a lot of people asking me for his info as a result and I’ve referred clients to him that have also been ecstatic with the work he’s done for them. (free free to PM me with any questions on procedures… I mean this IS Unilocal after all so I don’t exactly want to spell out everything that was done, ahem)
I also have been getting botox from him for the past year and I started using latisse which I get from his office as well. I absolutely love both of those things and I’m hooked. Dr. Fazilat, his nurses and his office staff are all really amazing nice people. I think his pricing on everything is great as well. I take extra business cards while I’m there to give to people that ask me for them and at this point its good to have one available since it happens a lot. A good plastic surgeon is hard to find and a bad one can really ruin you. I’m happy to say Dr. Fazilat is one of the best ever and you can’t go wrong with him. Definitely go in for a consultation and you’ll see for yourself. I highly recommend all the additional services his office offers as well.

I bought groupon for underarm hair removal in 2013. The front staff was very friendly and I had no problem securing appointments. I was an ideal candidate for laser hair removal as I have fair skin and dark hair. The treatment was working well but as soon as I was done with my six sessions, 60−70%hair grew back. Their laser machine does not work. I would not buy more sessions.

Dr. Fazilat and his staff are wonderful! They always take the time to answer every question I have and never make me feel rushed. What I appreciate most about Dr. Fazilat is his professional opinion regarding the type of procedure I initially came in to inquire about. He told me that I would not be happy with my results if I had that procedure, and offered me something even better! After my procedure, I healed great and loved my results, just as he said I would. I would recommend Dr. Fazilat to everyone!

While I couldn’t go back to work at the time I expected, my job asked for all types of paper work and his staff responded so quickly to every piece of paper work faxed over! All around it was just a great experience, not to meant ion my boobs looks God given !

My wife bought me a Groupon laser voucher for two treatments. I went in for treatment and found the whole thing was a scam! Both my wife and I had several IPL treatments before: it usually takes 20 min of «zapping», then the spots will darken and peel off in the next a few days.
Dr. Fazilate’s treatment lasted 3 minutes. There was zero impact to the spots for the coming days. It took me several calls and emails before they even acknowledged the complaints. Then he said that it’d take 6 treatments before I’d see any results. Then I asked for refund including the unused one, he refused. Instead, he tried to sell me 4 more treatments.
The Groupon was a bait for you to sign up 4 more before you’ll see any results. He probably had the machine tune down so that you won’t see any results in the first and second treatment. What a scam! Avoid him at all cost!
Here is what a honest IPL doctor will tell you:

Great service but when they have their groupon, appts are hard to come by. Sometimes you have to wait 7 – 8 weeks instead of the recommended 6 – 7 weeks between treatments.

Went in for first time botox. Great professional and super friendly staff!
I can already see results! Dr. Fazilat is very friendly, great technique, and I would recommend him to anyone!

I’ve had many procedures done by doctor Fazilat. He is a talented doctor, honest, and with a sense of humor: o) His work is detailed and natural looking. I am very happy with almost every procedure I had done there. I highly recommend Doctor Fazilat, he as a good eye and like an artist he creates and sculpts! This doctor knows how to make fabulous revisions to enhance ones looks and body image.

Wow! So impressed! I got a small lazer hair removal treatment done and from previous experience (at other places) is is quite painful. This is to be expected. I braced myself for this as I went in. But this place has different machines! Instead of hot, needle-​point pain, the machines have a lovely cold air that blasts out at the same time. The result is very, very minimal ouchness. And the super-​sensitive spots? The RN has a technique for making it completely painless. I was shockingly thrilled!
The front desk is really pleasant and they offered a deal (a super deal) for more treatments at a great combo cost.

Dr. Fazilat is very competent doctor. I’ve met with 3 other doctors before I decided to choose him for my breast augmentation a few years ago. He has always been very supportive and patient. I am one of those patients who calls in about every little thing and he always been flexible to see me. Besides a few major surgeries due to a health condition, he is also my doctor for Botox and he does it all with professional etiquette and great results.
His staff is extremely nice and helpful.
I would definitely recommend Shahin Fazilat and would bring my family to him for any procedures.

Dr. Fazilat is the best of the best. I received 3 consultations for rhinoplasty and chose him after seeing the work he has done on family and friends. He performed a face lift for my mom, tummy tuck, breast augmentation on my friend, and Botox for my sister.
It is 2 weeks post op and my nose looks absolutely fabulous. I couldn’t be more pleased. I traveled from Los Angeles, which is where I live, just so I could have Dr. Fazilat perform this procedure for me. This says a lot in LA where there are so many plastic surgeons and so many people with work done which means everyone wanted my business. I would do it again in a heart beat. His staff was extremely friendly and flexible working with me and my schedule for the pre and post operation appointments.
Not only did he fix my nose but it still looks like me, just a thousand times better. The recovery was quick and painless because he is truly an expert. For all future cosmetic needs I will be back.

I originally had purchased a Groupon for 6 sessions for laser hair removal and had diligently checked out the reviews here on Unilocal before purchasing to make sure this going to a legitimate place. My review is long and detailed so if you’d rather have a concise and abbreviated summary of this place, skip to my last paragraph.
In the very beginning I did think that this was a reputable place, but my opinion has completely changed at this point. First appointment was made easily over the phone and went smoothly and was effective for hair removal. I’m the type of person who, before leaving the office after a treatment I would always set up my future appointment, verbally confirm it with the receptionist and then leave. For the second treatment it was a totally different experience from the first appointment. The day before that second appointment I did not get a confirmation call, so I called to ask about my appointment and she told me «no, your appointment is actually on [this date] at [this time], not even close to the one that I had at my date book which actually worked with my schedule. This happened two more times, for my third and fourth treatments (out of six purchased). Each time I called to find out about my appointment it would be different from the date/​time I had personally set up, and I would be told the same thing-​no you’re mistaken it’s on this day at this time. They would assign appointment times for me to come that were ridiculous with my schedule and proximity to the office, like 9:00am on a Tuesday even though I live 30 miles away (hello morning rush hour) and had worked til 1:00am the night before (there’s no way I’d do anything at 9:00am after working midnights). Somehow this would be made as my error, even though I had confirmed my appointment with the receptionist prior leaving their office. I’m not sure why or how it kept happening, if it was because the receptionist and office team was disorganized or if they are dishonest. All I know is that it was a great inconvenience to me, and it was completely unacceptable.
I had laser therapy done on some spider veins on my leg, and it was completely ineffective. I am talking no change whatsoever to the appearance of the vein. I called and asked me to come in to have the doctor look at it, because (of course) he wasn’t the person completing the treatment, it was a technician. Apparently she didn’t have the machine calibrated correctly because it had produced absolutely zero results. So he did a new test spot, asked to come back in three weeks. That brings me to this point, where they screwed up THIS appointment as well, even though they were supposed to be trying to correct a treatment which had proven completely ineffective. When I called after not receiving a confirmation call, I was told that my appointment was not for the time I had set up, but for next week and first thing in the morning. Again.
So I cancelled the appointment and asked for the receptionist to have the doctor call me back because I just wanted my money back rather than to continue to deal with his staff. He didn’t call. I waited a few days, giving him some time to return my call only to not get a call. So I called on a weekend to leave a recorded message for him and to my surprise he actually answered. I told him the whole story and he sounded annoyed, whether it was at me or his staff I’m not sure. He did apologize and did work with me, trying to offer ways to make it right. In the end I decided that I just wanted a refund for the ineffective vein therapy and I didn’t want to finish my last two hair removal treatments due to the terrible customer service by the front desk staff. He agreed to that and said they’d mail me a reimbursement check for the vein treatment. I wasn’t sure if I’d actually receive it but about a week later I did get a check in the mail.
The doctor is nice, and seems knowledgeable and competent. That’s if you can stand to deal with his front desk staff and actually make it to your appointments, which will magically change date and/​or time without your knowledge or consent.
