Mountain View Gardens Apartments

I lived there for 6 months. The lower level apartments are not properly insulated from the upper units. You can hear your upstairs neighbors walking and talking, their floors are very squeaky creating more noise than a normal person would make from simply walking. I wouldn’t recommend renting bottom units. Also the management is a sleazy agency which makes up all sorts of damages after you move out. They charged me up 3k after I moved out. Likely I had the cleaning receipts and pictures that the property didn’t need the work they claimed they did. Once I sent that evidence in, they couldn’t really insist on me paying that 3k. In the end I didn’t lose money but the experience was still unpleasant and unnecessary.

I waited over a week since the last time I contacted them to write this review.
The first time I called them, I called the (866) number posted on their website, got an answering machine, I left a message and I still haven’t received a call back. About 5 days later, I googled them and saw the (650) number so I called them again. When I was about to hang up, a lady picked up. I asked to make an appointment to see the apartments that Saturday, she told me she’d have to get back to me because the person showing the apartments that day was not in. I left my name and phone number and still no response.
If they can’t even return my 2 calls, what are they doing then? Definitely not running a business.
