I went to lab for quarterly blood test today, I was told the doctor didn’t provide test items therefore I couldn’t get it done. I remembered when I left her office three months ago, I got a call from her office said the doctor provide incomplete blood test paper, but she will fax the qualified paper to lab office and certainly she forgot and the office didn’t do it.
I called office when it’s open and told the front desk lady that what was happened and I was not happy about it, I asked the doctor to call me back and requested the qualified blood test paper can be faxed to lab asap.
I called two hours later, the front desk lady said: doctor is busy with other patient and she asked you to go to ER room for your blood work. I was shocked and questioned the front desk lady if she had passed the message correctly, she handed up the phone on me. I called back questioned her why handed up the phone, she denied. Then told me she didn’t fax the blood test work, and doctor Meng asked me to go to ER room for my issues. Then she put my on hold with music. I called again and there was another lady picked up the phone and repeated the same message as the other rude lady, then put my on hold with music again.
I am not sure what’s going on with this office, I remember 4 months ago I went to appointment which it’s scheduled by the office, and waited one and half hour and left, later I was told the doctor was not working that day, and no one ever noticed me.
There are other good doctors around, I do not need to see Dr. Meng, She has never called me back today. I wonder how can she allowed her office to be so rude? So ridiculous? She was the one made mistake by issuing a blood test paper without test items and caused me with empty stomach and wasted time. Instead of apologizing to me, she refused to call me back and asked me to go to ER room for rutting blood test, her office refused to fax the paper to lab, and hand up phone to me, should American Medical Association take look what’s going on there ?
I will never need such doctor with such bad services, also like to have everyone to be aware what’s going on.

I don’t like Dr. Jane Meng at all. And I don’t understand why they asked me for a deposit since I have insurance and Dr. Meng is my in-​network physician. Totally don’t recommend this office!

Disappointed! The front desk didn’t told only accept cash and check when I make appointment! then when I got there, I need to pay 350 $deposit .this also not told me~

Identity Theft is what this Dr.‘s office is.
I received a bill from this Dr.‘s office for a visit I never took. I have never been this Dr.‘s patient and I never know this Dr. in my entire life.
I don’t know how, they not only stole my address, but they stole my Insurance account Info., and Billed my Insurance.
I since then have been dealing with them for the past 3 weeks. On 01/​20/​2013, Karen, from this office left me a message said that they billed me wrong and they are going to write a letter to the insurance company.
Today, 01/​27/​2013, I called my insurance company and found out they received nothing from this office for the wrong billing.
I called the Dr.‘s office again today, 01/​27/​2013. Talked to Karen, who made the mistake the 1^st place and asking a copy of the letter to be either faxed or mailed to me. She said I have to make the trip to their office and pick it up. It is for patient privacy!!! (shame on you, when you even care to mention about patient privacy!)
I told her it is not fair for her to cause me an un-​necessary trip for something their office screwed up. They did not care about my privacy in the 1^st place, why they care about it now when I ask her to send a copy of the letter to the same address where they send me the wrong bill to began with.
ID theft, carelessness, is my impression of this office.
I have never been, and will never be a patient of this Doctor.

I love Dr. Meng! She listens to you and takes the time to answer your questions and concerns. I always look forward to my appointments with her. I can tell she really cares about me both as a doctor and as a friend. She’s interested in my health and well being as well as what I have going on in my personal life.
I was very sad to leave her practice when I had to switch my medical benefits to kaiser but would switch back to her in a heartbeat if and when my coverage goes back to PPO.
Dr. Meng is fabulous!

Dr Meng listens well– if she does not have the answer she says so and then gets back to me. She is very thorough, skilled, and compassionate.
I would like to recommend her to older ladies. She’s young but she understands our issues.
I actually look forward to a doctor’s visit!

i hate doctors. i try really hard to avoid them. they tend to be cold and unfriendly and make an already awkward situation even more awkward. unfortunately, i have a somewhat frail body and find myself dreading yet another appointment every few months.
ive probably seen dr meng about 10 times in the last two years. i no longer try to stop time, a la evie from out of this world. in fact, i look forward to seeing dr meng because she’s kind, caring and warm. oh, and she’s good! she was a pretty famous ent dr in taiwan before coming and studying at ucsf. now she specializes in womens health and cosmetic/​laser procedures. she is married to and shares an office with dr ming liu, who is a former chief of surgery at ucsf.
i really feel like she cares about me and she is extremely cautious and thorough. she is also willing to make lunch appointments so if you work, its so much more convenient!
minus one star though, because the girl who does her billing is horrible. she’s really nice, but is pretty careless.
