Specialties
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have years of experience helping people who struggle with anxiety and depression as well as stress and relationship problems. I also spend a lot of my time teaching and training other therapists in CBT. My favorite thing about practicing CBT is that my patients and I make a lot of progress in a short amount of time.
History
Established in 2008.
After several years in private practice in New York City, I relocated to the Bay Area in 2007. In my practice I have helped clients live happier and more fulfilling lives by overcoming social anxiety, panic attacks, worrying, stress, OCD, PTSD, depression, relationship problems, and other common challenges. In 2011 I joined the Voluntary Clinical Faculty at Stanford’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. In this role I teach Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and serve as a consultant to psychiatry residents, local practitioners and graduate students, both individually and in weekly seminars at Stanford.

Business Owner
Although I run my own therapy practice and am an independent practitioner, I share office space with other like-minded therapists. The office is called The Feeling Good Institute, and all of us have trained closely with Dr. David Burns, author of the best selling book «Feeling Good.» Currently, I co-lead a therapist training group with Dr. David Burns at Stanford, and I find his self-help books to be invaluable in helping my patients make progress outside of therapy sessions.
